Anyone else think this game was fixed, because the US didn't get any calls

I wouldn't think it was fixed as much as the ref just got a little excited, and possibly influenced by the crowd.

After those 3 yellow cards, the match was called pretty fairly, IMO. At the end of the day, nobody on the US got a red card so I don't think this one is on the ref.

I didn't see any fix there. Might have tilted very slightly to Mexico but that is hardly the reason the US lost. Congrats to Mexico for a good game.

ref very inconsistent. almost no cards for late challenges by mexicans and no fouls for shirt tugs....every time we did ANYTHING a foul and all late challenges were yellow.

Eh what was the throat grabbing that should of been an ejection and the carying the ball away from howard should of been a yellow

Please. No 3-minutes of stoppage time, offside call against Davis, one yellow to Mexico yet they blantly deserved one, all fouls to Mexice no matter who initiated them, corner awarded on a touch by Mexican player, the list goes on. Doesn't he know that pesos aren't worth much?

the ref was predictably awful, I doubt it cost us the game but it didn't help. We did deserve the yellows. But shocker of shockers he let Mexico slide on some clear yellows.

I thought Mexico got a few more calls their way, but overall, it wasn't too bad. The two goals they scored were flukes, just the US players getting lost or not communicating well.

Only the most biased of people would think the officiating was fair, or just liars. Mexico was getting that second goal if the official had to put it in himself.

Luckily they got a bounce and it didnt come to that.

Again, Bocanegra should have been sent off in the 75th minute.

is this the first time you've EVER watched a US - Mexico game?

It's ALWAYS like this. The US team has to get meaner, less naive if we ever want to beat the Tri in Azteca. that simple.

& lol @ "the drug cartel".... like there's a one National cartel controlling the entire drug trade

Benny pushed the guy first and got no yellow. Giving a yellow for time wasting late does nothing to change the result of the game. Mexico maybe got a few more of the 50/50 calls but they also executed better on the day. It was a good win by them.

We would have been better with Bocanegra being sent off. He was god awful today! Not stepping up on the first goal and getting completely lost on the second goal and then ball watching the ball into the back of the net.
