BB has had a run of pretty good team selections. He certainly has gotten better after his England call ups.

It is obvious that Dolo is not the guy right now. If he chose Benny and Rico in the middle over his son, I would also be pretty happy as Benny is just a much better player against possession than Bradley.

Bob always makes at least one head scratching start or sub per game.

So lets see the continuation today.

Spector will almost certainly come on as a sub. I can see Clark needing to be subbed out in the second half, and if spector starts, Clark has no back up.

I'd rather see him at Rb, but given the dmid predicament, it may not be a bad move.

Ricardo Clark is the only dmid on the roster. The other centermids fit into more of an attacking mold, like Holden,Torres,Feilhaber.

Very interesting, but I'll believe Bradley not starting when I see it. :) However, as others have said, it might mean that he's got an ailment. Either way, I thihk this lineup is just about as good as we have.

There's no way that Dolo is better than Spector at this point in time, so I hope the defensive lineup is correct.

    GO USA!

    from twitter.com/ussoccer

    1-Howard; 6-Cherundolo, 5-Onyewu, 15-DeMerit, 3-Bocanegra (capt.); 8-Dempsey , 13-Clark, 12-Bradley, 10-Donovan; 9-Davies, 11-Ching

Wanted to see Spector. Also not pumped about Ching/Davies. I wanted to see Altidore/Davies. We'll see.

according to gsc29, Dempsey has either cloned himself or split in 2 and is playing 2 positions. :)

Golazo, I hear ya. Was it really that hard to just trot out the successful confed. cup lineup?

I can't believe that Dolo is starting ahead of Spector. Jonathan has earned the right back position and wouldn't be rattled in this game. Dolo is off of a recent injury and has slowed down.

Ching up top, I can understand. But I'm very disappointed in the selection at right back. I just hope Dolo doesn't get beaten like a drum ... :(
