I sincerely hope you seek help outside of this forum, your communication skills are frightening.

NOOB. i've forgotten more about the USNT than you'll ever know.

i love all of these Sounder fans with their "July 2009" join dates telling everyone they're trolls. we should make NOOB boards for all of you tools. get some perspective then call me.

Whoa. That was confusing. I know none of them play in the English League One but I spent 10 seconds trying to figure out which of those guys play there anyway. I was going down the line and thought "Hey, Bocanegra and Davies play in Ligue 1, I don't see a count for them...oh, I see. League One = Ligue 1."

Maybe we should adopt some French = League Un.

In terms of BB, I think we all knew (and sometimes feared) USSF was sticking with BB come hell or high water.

One thing I'd ask Sunil to remember, I think we need to qualify first.

Now, depending on how matters go tomorrow, that could be almost a foregone conclusion, or really dicey.

I sure as hell hope we learned from the Bruce mistake. 4 more years would be a joke, even if you are happy with Bradley now.

    Sorry about that

being a big fan of an English team in League One and a big follower of that league as a result, I got it mixed up. Yes, I meant to say Ligue 1.. my bad

No need to apologize. I think Ligue 1/Un is League One in French, so it is technically correct ;). With all the leagues around the world it does get difficult to distinguish between some. I think there are about 20 "Primera Divisions" in the world

He may have dropped a zero or two. I'm SURE there were more then 2-300. If we get thrashed with our best team, I think Gulati better rethink this

I love how on BigSoccer your knowledge about the game is equivalent to your join date. I didn't realize that forum join dates were synonymous with game knowledge.

You failed to even address any of my points. Making you the "loser" in this argument. My lack of "perspective", to what you lack of anything that resembles human thought and communication. Stop being the guy who has to shout over everyone to get heard and then maybe I'll try your "perspective".

And what does it mean to have "forgotten more" about something lol.

I don't know how you are sure unless you personally wrote about 150 or so. ;)

200-300 seems about right. Let's be honest. There aren't a whole lot of people writing letters to the USSF about Bob outside of the guillotine squad on this forum and I'm confident that not every person in these parts who doesn't like Bob bothered to write a letter.

Funny. I wandered into this thread thinking, "Why on the even of the US-Mex qualifier down at Azteca would someone dig up an old thread on Sunil's support for Bradley?" Turns out it wasn't an old thread at all.

Weird timing for something everyone already knew. Disagree that it's a preemptive strike, though. My guess would be just a little spotlight grabbing on Sunil's part.

Regardless of the result, our days of getting thrashed by Mexico, anywhere in the world, are over. That is progress in itself.

That is true probably, but whatever Gulati says, must be weighed against BB's results in the qualifiers. If he struggles with our team then he should be replaced and will be. Tell me that in the next months if BB f&cks up, coaches around the world won't be crowing about their desire to coach our fair nation, for a price.

Agree once you are in that position that you answer the question. But the fact that he is even doing interviews says something. His predecessor did not do them, so the obvious path would be to stay out of the spotlight and have it instead fall on Bob Bradley. But he clearly likes to do them. Different folks, different strokes.

So is this thread kind of like everyone getting together before the big match and punching each other in the face to get a little more fired up?

I feel kind of left out so let me just say that......Michael Ricketts will NEVER play for the USA!

Kind of an ironic statement, unless it was a joke (and I do view the recent thrashing of indicative of nothing, but still, scoreboard for them).

We've known Bob was going to be our WC Coach for quite a while now. And that's fine. The Confederations Cup showed us that the combination of this group of players and staff is capable of beating some of the top teams in the world.

I'd say what clinched Bob's status was our victory in the 2007 Gold Cup. If we hadn't won that tourney (lost to Canada in the semis for instance)........then the pressure would have been on Sunil from all quarters. The USSF clearly made that tournement the top priority for the pre-WCQ period. Once world-cup qualifying started.........it was obvious Bob was going to be the coach. We know the US will quality........and you aren't going to fire Bob in between qualification and the world cup.

    It's simple.

Actually I find it hard to believe he got that many. I thought it was a typo and should have read 20-30!

When I joined and started posting I had already been following soccer here and abroad for more than a decade.

I wasn't nearly as internet savy back then and someone had to tell me about this site at a game.

That didn't stop posters from bashing me because I was a "newbie".

The hilarity of it was that those same posters never used facts to support their ideas or arguments. They just assumed I knew nothing about the sport.

It's BS (and that has a double meaning). It is what it is...

I never really had time to surf the internet as I'm apart of the elite group of kids who had Soccer "Dads". For the most part I watched local games and Fox Soccer Channel when I wasn't playing. I blew out my knee in February and stumbled onto this site. Its definently awesome. Some people just choose to ruin it, but thats life I suppose.

People are idiots. If you can't take posters on BS with a grain of salt how can you deal with idiots face to face in the real world?

Most BSer's are fine. Stick around and you'll see that.
