    barn burners,

i came here to post on your board just to say that you guys did an awesome job at the MLS Final. i was at the game just to watch a very good game...seeing as how my team (galaxy) didnt make it to the final. of course i was hoping your team would win because of the rivalry we have with SJ. but the reason im posting here is to say...you guys did a really really REALLY awesome job. i loved how you guys used flags, balloons, streamers and the HUGE fire jersey. your chants were loud...louder than SJ for sure...until the end when SJ was winning...but through out the whole game you guys kicked A$$. just wanted to say that...i wish LA's groups would get together...im sure we would be as good as you guys if both the riot squad and galaxians joined...GOOD JOB and good luck next year.

I didn't know where else to put this, but I just wanted to say that I got a chance to meet a lot of you this weekend. What a fun group we have as Fire fans, and I had so much fun at the Gala/After party, and the game. Our fans are really a special group, and it was nice to be a part of that. Thanks for making my weekend so much fun!

You guys looked great out there, unfortunately I couldn't hear you across the field, but other accounts who were near you said that you rocked. How did you get the flag on poles in? You got to let us know so that we can get them in next season.

Can we have your front office replace mine then? The Galaxy FO sucks. And while we're at trades, how about a few of your players?

You need to stop this crap. NOBODY THINKS YOU'RE FUNNY. And guess what? Not a single person on this board wants to hear how badly you want Peter to work for Metro. He isn't going to defect if you keep on posting here so stop before I have Jeff McCrum find out where the hell you live and inflict bodily harm. Go away.

I wish you people would stop quoting him, he's on my ignore list for a reason.

Also, while I would enjoy a nice pummeling, I have no wish to actually touch that guy.

True, but you have to get close. And then the stench gets you.

Maybe you could announce that the pummeling will commence in 60-90 days so that he will never know when it's coming.

60-90 days in Metrospeak means "never"

    two things:

my favorite moment of the weekend:

and I don't want to sound silly cause the DC fans are good folk, but did you really have to take down the banner in front of the adjacent section w/o asking? We put it up the day before and got special permission to hang the sucker...so i'm just saying. Ah nevermind. I'm just pissed cause Delta left my luggage in Dallas.

Anyway, not the greatest weekend of my lfe, but far from the worst. At times approaching the strangest, but still great memories.

You know, thinking about it, MLS should do some thinking and set aside a section for all 10 teams. Not a lot of seats mind you, fifty or so, but set them aside beforehand so things like this don't have to happen, as the DCers bought their seats a month ago as well and deserve to have a chance beforehand to put up a banner without taking down anyone else's. I mean MLS wants supporters from every team at the summit and whatnot, right? So set aside some seats for every team until after the conference championships.

    Greetings from California

Just wanted to say hi and congratulations for the great showing you guys had, practically 2000 miles from home. I've always heard you guys were the best fans in the league and it may be true. The whole weekend was a great experience and it wouldn't have been half as fun without so many Fire supporters proudly wearing the team colors.

But don't get complacent, we're catching up!

    :D

    yeah we are pretty cool

Yeah now if we could just get the rest of the league to be as zealous for their team like we are, things would be even better.
