Closing this thread for some clean up and for everyone to cool off.

Next time report posts you don't like, don't reply to them.

EDIT: Posts in this thread got way out of hand. This is not a rivalry forum. I expect posters here to be civil to one another. If they're not, report their posts.

I don't care who Ronaldo sees/dates/is curious about. I don't care if you have a problem with TV/TS or any other alternative sexuality. This is a soccer forum and you will discuss soccer.

If you're interested in discussing other stuff go find bigbraziliantabloid.com

Finally, not only do I expect posters to be civil on this forum I also expect new posts to ADD something to the discussion. In other words, before you click "submit" make sure you're not saying the exact same thing you say 2 posts ago or 2 pages ago.

With that said, this thread will re-open before Ronaldo's next game and I expect it to be a much cleaner thread.

    EDIT: Re-opened or Sunday's games.

Yes Ronaldo deserves to be on NT for the next world cup he's just the best...if he could just loose about 15 pounds he would be back to being the best striker in the world once again R9

Maybe it's too much to say this, but if,and just if Ronaldo win the next world cup along with the national squad(of course, having a good play-time on field)
I really think it could be the greatest carrer of a player, ever.
    That's a very long shot,but i have a very big amount of hope. ;)

    KKKKKKK :p

While fixing his broken hand, Ronaldo also did a liposuction to lose weight (2kg).

This has to be a first for a "professional athlete." Usually athletes run and eat well to keep the weight off. This is even lazier than Romario. Only Ronaldo could pull this off; the man is genius on the field, but also for finding a way to spend his rehab eating and drinking at Porcao and not suffer any consequences. Brilliant.

That's what I thought when I first read the article... that this has to be a first for a player. But Neto and Marcelinho Carioca are a couple of players that have gone through the procedure in the past. Although I am not sure Neto went through it in his playing days.

Either way ... there is always an excuse for Ronaldo's weight problems and they are all BS IMHO. When he was at Milan, they reported that the doctors discovered Ronaldo had a thyroid hormonal imbalance that caused his weight problems. They said they he was gonna take some meds to treat it, but nothing ever changed.

    Well,

Considering that Brazil won 5 Cups in 68 years of WC’s...

(that is, 76 years – 8 [which is the period between 1938 and 1946 without Cups])

...we have an average 1 Cup won at each 13, 6 years.

That means that if the Argentinian fan in question referred to World Cups won till the end of this century Brazil should have - not 8 or 9 - but at least 11 Cups by 2098 (last WC of this century).

    That's still underrating us! :D ...

As far as Grafite (mentioned by you in the other post) - that one Dunga should have in mind & call.

With that he'll stimulate more dispute among the forwards.

I think at least Robinho, Fabiano & Pato are starting to feel too comfortable as WC prospects.

Having there Grafite, Nilmar & Adriano putting pressure on them won't do any harm.

They are the ones that cannot accomodate if we want to win 2010.

PS: Sorry, Ronaldo: 2006 was the 'big hour' for you (maybe for Dinho too - it all depends on him).

He wouldn't be able to play professional football on any level if he had a thyroid problem. What probably happened is that the physicians at Milan tried to put him on thyroid meds too speed up his metabolism, but being the fat ******** that he is he put it all back as soon as he got off the meds.

Now he can be considered a cheater too. Hahaha.

while I do think it's laughable that he has to resort to lipo in order to lose fat, I say meh that's medicine. Nobody called him a cheater when he underwent surgery for his knee, which also "melhorou o desempenho físoco". it's the same thing.

Tiger Woods has done eye surgery which reportedly has made his sight super human and nobody calls him a cheater.

This Sao Paulo physio is just hating.

    Yep.

Consequently Mengão86 would have to agree with Zico's detractors because he had become (as they put it) a 'craque de laboratório', when still an adolescent he went through a series of phisical enhancement procedures that gave him sufficient fitness that helped him become the genius that he was.

Were R9 mediochre he could lipoaspire as much as he wanted that that wouldn't help him in any way in terms of playing good football.
