Oddly, Eurosport doesn't let you purchase it now. I wonder how long this will remain up on their website.

Has to be, like the cereal boxes with the Fire on them in 2000 that I saw. Once. Sigh.

Jeez, between those shirts and Jeff Bradley picking us to win it all, we're friggin' doomed. Thanks for the jinx, soccer.com.

This reminds me of a hillarious story about my grandma from 25 years ago.

My parents lived in Australia at the time, and would tape conversations/latest news on a cassette recorder and send it to my father's parents (much cheaper than phone calls then). My grandparents in Ohio did the same. While they (grandparents) were discussing the upcoming Rose Bowl football game, my grandmother stated that they should call Australia the day before, because since Australia was on the other side of the international date line, my parents would already know the result of the game. That being the case, my grandparents could then run and place a massive bet on the outcome of the game. My grandfather argued with her for five minutes trying to explain that regardless of the time zone, the game would be played at the same time everywhere. She never did catch on...

Maybe Puma has a rep in Australia who already knows the outcome of Sunday's match.

Speaking of shirts... those Eastern Conference champ shirts that the team got after the NE match were pretty sharp... the least tacky or gaudy shirts I've seen... the 2000 shirts were just awful.

Are they available for purchase anywhere?

I didn't see a thread... there probably was one... but I didn't see it.

BTW... there is NO jinx this time. Those who know me know that I believe very heavily in jinxes, for some stupid reason. I sincerely believe that there is nothing that can jinx the team for this match. They will win or lose on that field... and that field alone. It's all up to them.

    Let's hear the conspracy theories...

The MLS has already sent the word out that the Fire has won the cup. Why? To help us get a stadium.

I magnified the picture and it clearly shows 2003.

That's what I felt: it was a jinx. Glad they didn't make a San Jose Earthquakes shirt.:p
