Much nicer than the old Amanti... that one looked like a shrunken Town Car.

Nice, but Kia will never be Audi.

Yeah KIA, haven't they been upcoming forever! Over-hyped and under-deliver. Didn't help that they exported cars to new markets that were fire hazards.

Kia's new offerings have been extremely competitive. I do some work with Kia - the new Forte has been receiving stellar reviews, and people are comparing it favorably to the Civic.

The Kia does look very good but it still has the Kia badge which it won't be as respected in the luxury car world as Audi

you'd be surprised - kia's are getting pretty solid reviews, especially in comparison to a lot of established brands. in fact, the guy who created the new forte for kia, peter schreyer, actually used to work for audi.

check out the reviews for the forte:

motor trend: "After our day in the Forte sedan -- the flagship of an emerging Forte line that will soon be joined by the Forte Koup and possibly a hatch and hybrid in the future -- we can safely say that Kia's transformation from purveyor of budget transportation with a great warranty to a respected, top-tier brand is nearing completion. How consumers react to this change will hold the key to the Forte's future success."

edmunds: "If you think high style has no place in budget transportation, don't bother telling Kia. Schreyer and the Forte are part of the Korean automaker's grand strategy."

Kia brand is underrated. Some of the designs of Kia vehicles are nice and some of them provide good performance.
