As I read through this thread I don't see a projected finish date. Do any of you guys know if they are really planning on having this completed for the entire 2010 season? Looking at the construction images that seems like a very lofty goal.
They plan on having it finished, but they've also mentioned having the first few games away in the event that it isn't totally ready.
So far, the word is that it's on schedule. The underground work is done, the walls are rising, and they don't have a problem getting construction workers with time available right now, so it could very well happen. Building sites tend to look like nothing for a long time, then shoot up quickly once the infrastructure is in place.
After my wife comes back from her night out drinking. Talk about your 'vertical rumble'. Sorry, couldn't resist.
unfoturnately Pa snow sotrms are very unpredictable. We can have anything from nothing to the one in I think it was 96'. So hopefully we have a light winter this year to finish the stadium in time.
Could Philly be the first MLS team to play their first 15 on the road, and all the remaining games at home?
Anyone know how often Google Maps updates their satellite images? Right now, the stadium site is still blank and the Comcast Center is still under construction, so I'm guessing our area's map is a few years behind, at least.
Web-cam! Web-cam! Web-cam! Web-cam! Maybe if we all bought cheap webcams and mailed them to the front office they'd get the hint...
