I am curious to know if anyone else has a pain in the *ss time of exiting the swamp like me. It seems like I am forced to pay a stupid toll for the NJ Turnpike when I am not even getting on or off the turnpike. It cost me $.055 sense to ride a 2 mile stretch of road that has no entrances (other than the one out of the swamp) or exits what is up with that? I normally wouldnt complain about this but several times this year I have escaped without paying a toll. Unfortunately, I havent been able to figure it out since. They way they route traffic around there I am afraid any experimentation could result in a head-on collision. So I follows the signs.

    What is up with this?

You can hop on the Turnpike for free and go north using the secret bat exit behind the arena.

The "secret bat exit" was available on Sunday, but at times isn't blocked off.

Is this another NJSEA plot to make us take the Turnpike?

Even is you take the Route 3 alternative to the GWB, you still need to pay a Turnpike toll. The benefit is passing through only one toll plaza instead of two.

If you go north there isn't a toll to pay. Just go to the Vince Lombardi rest stop and turn around if you need to go south and then take the rt3 exit which is no toll..I think. It's been awhile since I have done that route but i remember never paying tolls.

I can't stand NJ roads. There hasn't been a single time I've been to the stadium or NJ for that matter without getting lost.

if you're going south from the "bat exit" you still have to pay the toll but you don't have to wait in the long 16W line. You will pay a little more for that though cause you're entering at "18W."
