Beckerman's had a couple very dangerous passes, though he faded toward the end. He looks better than I expected.

Maybe it's low expectations, but I don't think Pause was that bad in the first half.

I think Pearce is catching a lot of undeserved heat. He has gotten forward well and delivered a couple of crosses, the best one ended with Adu heading a shot on goal. The silly foul aside, Pearce hasn't been awful.

The constant adu bashing reminds of this forum pre U-21 world cup.

We're too slow up top. Ching anint makin it. Pause is terrible. Getting by that, Dolo and Pearce suck too but they're Bob's favs so they're safe

that's not saying that much. i mean Adu made a great back heel too that put him through. doesn't mean he's been great.

The US was dangerous until Quaranta got belted. He disappeared after that. The US attack and Honduras shifted to the Rogers side of field exclusively and jammed up any attack.

Is Quaranta playing right side and Rogers left, with Adu and Ching as central forwards?

Disagree. They have both made enough bonehead plays on their own. I'm especially surprised with Cherundolo.

interesting one guy thinks that Ching is killing us. another thinks Ching has been so good, he's above playing with this group.

    interesting.

I hate that FSC pro-soccer commercial where the 2 Football fans get's rejected from a College party. Are they trying to mock us? Think of something realistic!

Surely you jest. Played back on D to cover Parkhurst's ass multiple time and has provided more offense than either Adu or Ching.

Adu has not been that bad in any strecth of the imagination. You guys are holding him to higher standards becasue of his name and the hype that came with him. Now he wasent outstanding, but his service has been good, he has linked pretty well, and had a solid chance on goal. He lost the ball once or twice, but he has been fine. You guys just expcet him to dribble through two or three defenders everytime he touches the ball, he did fine, definatley room for improvement, but he has not even close to the worse player for the US tonight.

were slow to react to balls logged up to the honduran attackers.

someone needs to press the passing forward in the midfield.

adu should drop back and bradley should bring in davies.

    ching?.....whats up buddy?....wake up now,mmm k?

Really though, Where in the world is Brian Ching? It looks as though Freddy's just running around screwing with the ball in a DMB-esque way by himself. Davies in for Ching and Feilhaber in for Pause would be nice, but I don't see it happening for another 20 minutes.

Quaranta's been good, along with Beckerman and Rogers, but it looks like they're the only ones who want to put in the effort. Everyone else is sitting back waiting for Honduras to create a play. Where's the hustle and heart that our "A team" has? These guys need to understand that they're auditioning for a potential WC spot here....

OK, gang, some of you sound like the Mexican press ragging on el Tri. We actually aren't playing THAT bad because Honduras is playing us pretty hard.

Still, this could be better and I don't get why Bradley puts out the lineups that he does.

I'd like to see Benny for Pause; Davies for Ching; and Holden for Quaranta. Then we can control midfield and have someone on top who can actually put it on frame.

beckerman has been a rock in the center, certainly a gold cup starter for the rest of the tournament in my opinion. Adu needs to stop dancing and learn how to play football this isn't MLS anymore, he needs to showcase a knowledge of the game and move it faster, him dribbling while going no where is pointless and the english fans would have mocked him. Ching can't work well with adu, bring on Davies for adu
