no, the CTR is replacing the Ronnie's! and it will run from nov 09 until early summer '10. The laser III will start in Jan 10'

This is confirmed. The red/black CTR's are in the Nike Canada catalogue for those dates. I saw it yesterday. Also offered are the yellow superfly's and vapors, the white, black pink superflys/vapors. The Laser 3 in the green (synthetic) and white (k-leather). The Tiempo legend in white with black/gold outline stripe (similar colors to the k-leather laser 3). There is a step down in the CTR in all silver with a royal blue stripe ($140 CDN). Also offered is the Tiempo Premier (94) in black which is sweet!

The Laser III only in Jan '10? you mean for 6 months there wont be any new colourways for Lasers?

Well it is a good thing the CTR is replacing the 'dinho line. it sort of opens a 4th boot line for Nike.

and erm, what's the CTR good for? Vapor = Speed, Laser = Accuracy/Power, Legend = Control/Touch.

The catalogue I saw with the Laser 3's was the Spring 2010 catalogue. They will surely have Laser 2's in the Fall and Holiday lines. I cannot comment on the colours other than the silver/black/red laser 2 which is shown:

That is a Fall colourway. Unsure of exact release dates.

I missed the talk on the CTR's - not sure Nike's angle on those.

 

isnt the silver/black/red the Swan Lasers? Figo was sporting them on the last day of the season, no?

 

^^^no, the swan lasers have blue under the shotshield, the unreleased silver ones have red under the shotshield. i do wonder when those are releasing tho. they look nice

the swan lasers basically look exactly the same as the white/black/yellow ones....althought they have the climacool dots or whatever....still nice looking colorway ;p

that silver/black/red one for the lasers is nice as well.....are there any other colorways of the laser 2 coming out or is that the last one?

I think they are a little different in looks. The silver one looks like one of the last releases of the Laser 1:

I haven't seen the Fall 2009 catalogue in some time but my assumption would be that we'll see 2-4 new colourways in the Laser 2 before we get the Laser 3in Jan 2010.

 

FYI:

the white/blue "Swan" is released 7/1/09
the silver/red/black is released 10/1/09
