Those moppets on PTI will have to talk about more soccer. But that's really the least of my joys at the moment.

(Will refrain from posting for a couple of hours until my emotions subside. But our boys just showed us more than they have in the 7 years since Portugal in 2002. This was wonderful, wonderful, wonderful!!!!!!)

Almost positive the ridiculous red against Bradley is going to stand. As far as I can remember, you can only appeal a red for mistaken identity. Dipshit referee was 3 feet away.

    Exactly!

Can anyone question Donovan now? He was the best player on the pitch today!

As a Brazilian who has lived a very long time in the USA it's heartwarming to see Americans getting into the beautiful game. That's why they play the games; defense wins championships - two axioms of sport long hailed and defended by American athletes and coaches.

And today, despite what most if not all (I'm guilty of it too) said, that Spain would thrash Team USA, your team played the game with the proper tactics - you annulled the Spaniard midfield and scored when you had your chances.

Congratulations, Team USA. Regardless of who wins this tournament, this is already, arguably, your biggest run since World Cup 2002 (albeit this has been probably more difficult to those prone to cardiac arrest).

Good luck in the final - I hope it's Brazil, but I'm not counting South Africa out.

Gooch man. Gooch. Thankfully we got our token red card so people can have something negative to say.

In seriousness, we all give Robo Bob hard time, some if not most probably will continue to. But in the end, at we have plenty to brag about right now. In my opinion, I saw we go for broke and win this thing. That's the proper attitude. USA has that swaggah!!
