For those who might be interested, was listening to WEEI today and Dale said that tomorrow Jonathan Kraft along with the MLS Commissioner, Don Garber will be on their show.
It's a shame that the interview won't be on D&C instead. They* did so well with Heather Mitts this morning.... * Chachi & Meterparel
So can we expect the usual question lineup? Jonathan, I hear the Revs have a game tonight...When's the first Patriots' game? How's Brady's arm? We know some of his other body parts must be wokring fine. Wink-wink. Don, are you friendly with the other sports commissioners? Like the ones in the real sports?
So when does the Revolution's season start? Oh really it already started? Interesting. So anyways, what's the deal with Wilfork's contract negotiations?
Talk about the development of Patriot Place. So, the World Cup is next year, right? That's a soccer tournament. Those Brazilians are really good, aren't they?
Considering they're talking to the owners of their respective teams, I'd like to think they'd actually talk a bit about it.
Michael Holley: "Trust me, we'll get to the nitty-gritty of soccer in a minute. Dale Arnold: "Let me personally thank you for Patriot Place." Jonathan Kraft is appearing to discuss the New England Revolution, right? Oh, wait... he's billed as Jonathan Kraft, President and Chief Operating Officer of the Kraft Group. So far, Mr. Kraft has discussed paper and packaging, medical offices and facilities, spas, upscale hotel rooms, the Bass Pro Shop and a working cranberry bog. Yippee!!!
Finally! And Krafty even with a US/Spain mention. Nice. SuperLiga questions starting off ... and then the mention of our standings. Ouch. Krafty mentioned the injuries and the road games starting off the season.
I guess 11,000 a game is a little bit below 20,000 when you consider the country's GDP is over 14,000,000,000,000.
Heh. Good question by Dale about attendance figures, both here and around MLS. Krafty with some talk about how atmosphere can affect attendance and how SSS are helping attendance.
"Stevie" Nicol. I wonder how the gaffer feels about the diminutive? Funny, but I've never seen Nicol as a "Stevie"?
