Gol Justin Mapp. Faux goats stumble clearing the ball, which Mapp curls to the far side netting.38th min
Medio tiempo 1-0 en favor la machina roja. A flurry of chances for the Fire in the run up to the break. Hard to tell if the Fire B side is this good, or the faux goats are this bad. We could as easily be up by 3. Goats only good chance was a header bounced off the post.
During the last 10 min's of the half nyarko has been way ahead sprinting down the wing to get in position to get a cross off. Either their left back is really slow/nyarko is pretty fast/or we're lucky... however he has gotten at least 1 quality cross off and at least another descent one. (Not including the goal which was a lucky bounce).
Say what you will about his work rate and stamina, but Justin Mapp is probably the best ball striker on this team other than Blanco.
Not too sure about that but he did have a nice shot. Couldn't tell if the second one was on goal or wide from the webcast.
We're probably seeing the same feed on TV, but I'm almost certain that was on goal. Good save by Big Zach.
My computer feed is a little fuzzy so you are probably right. The good thing was both shots were taken quickly and in tight space. That reflects Justin's foot skills which are excellent.
I think we still have 3 subs left. Preki really wants to win, he just subbed in Marsch, Galindo and some other dude.
How long is banner going to make a career out of that little stepover? That's it, Wilman Conde needs to play D-mid. He's just embarrassing all the Logan Pause defenders right now. He's made two really good runs from back and on the 2nd one laid off a nice pass to the wing.
I was at a "biker friendly" establishment, drinking a lot of beer, however the women never got any better looking.
Well, the 2nd half was far from stellar from Chicago's point of view - we did have our chances at least. For a B type squad though - pretty well done. I'll take that result and not complain much. Who was MOTM - I really dont know...
Seriously. There was some nice passing, and I liked that they were taking shots (some even on frame). Did chivas start with mostly subs too?
Good game for our reserve squad. I'll take these 1-0 victories for an eternity, no complaints here. To the person stating Nyarko's doesn't have velocity, well, I think he read your post and got offended dude. I really like our crop of youngsters. Nyarko and Pappa were great.
Yes and no. Marsch and Galindo were the only starters rested, but they were already missing Kljestan, Bornstein, and Lillingston.
I don't know if it was starters, per se, as Bornstein and Kljestan are at the Confed Cup, and Marsch and Galindo came on as subs, but it was at least all players from their normal gameday 18. It was certainly a closer lineup to their norm than was the Fire's. Edit: Your edits beat my post.
