Nice article on As about Alonso, 30ME sounds like a good price tbh.
Hopefully what they say is true, about him going to ask Benitez to leave after the Confed Cup.

    Why not?
Of course he has talked all the crap about Madrid... but what do you expect him to do? His talent is undeniable and at his age.

He's being a professional. He said:" I would feel like a traitor if I ever joined Real Madrid".

He's a nice guy that has settled down at a very young age . I'm sure he'll have a great career wherever he moves.

He had a great game the week before the getafe game (i think it was against recreativo, not sure). When he first came he was pretty good at CB, he was decent under Capello as well. He did have a couple of good games at CB, and if he has any flaws, its his mentality which would affect him whether hes at CB or RB.

Waiting for him to take his wage cut from the 12M to 9 or 8M. I'm also waiting for him to kiss some ass, put pressure on Moratti and actual fight for wanting to come to Madrid. If he doesn't, then I'll pass. Villa is a better finisher and while he doesn't have the other aspects Ibra does, he'd be cheaper and he's Spanish. Since Llorente is a douche, I'd take Benzema if I got a guarantee from someone who knows the future, that he'd be a crack and not turn into Anelka.

Anyways, those prices for Ibra, they're are throwing around is chaffing the ******** out of me. No way is he worth Cristiano money or even Kaka money... hell Kaka ain't worth Kaka money, lol.

    Maicon? Sign him up.

The way we're going to play, it's not like we need some stalwart at the back (Spain don't really have one and we most likely won't besides Pepe). So I wouldn't be against moving Ramos to CB early despite his short comings and having Maicon at RB.

    Capdevila-Ramos-Pepe-Maicon?

That would keep me warm at night...

I agree and I've been one of those who fed into this. Fact of the matter is you get what you see with him. A CM, who has a good shot from distance, sprays passes about, but not too much of a tireless worker on the pitch.

The fact that he is Spanish is what magnifies the "need" for him, imo. Anyways Felipe Melo, that one interests me even more than Lucho Gonzalez.

There's something wrong with loving condoms?

Bag full of useless tricks? You're describing Cristiano much more than Ibra.

I just want to say something to all the people that were telling me that Albiol was not good enough for RM. If you saw yesterday's match between Spain and South Africa you just saw how capable Albiol is. Enough said....:p

There is nothing wrong with that but 40 condoms in 1 night? Come on.
That's the old Cristiano. The 42 goals a season Cristiano cut back on those useless tricks but it seems at age 28, Ibrah still hasn't learned. ;)

Well lets be honest.. the footballers who are truly professional are very few. He is talking about his clubs arch rival there is not much he can do. His comments really have not been to extreme to the point where he is lacking professionalism and saying things like "I hope all Madrid players die in a fire."

But the question remains why would you not want him in Madrid, we are all entitled to our opinions thats why I am curious to hear others.

You have a very weird opinion on what's professional.

If a Real Madrid player would've said the same things about Atleti, that Kun has said about Real Madrid, we wouldn't hear the rest of it, about how he's trying to crowd support from the more "dedicated" fangroups.

He's a great player for his age, but at the end of the day, he's a tit.He isn't even from Madrid but tries to suck up to the mattress makers every chance he gets.

Because if he would actually do this, he wouldn't be able to drive around in Madrid. He actually lives outside the TV as well.

His position is covered, he's not worth the transfer fee, or the wage he'll demand.

    Plus, he's a tit.

Got them for him and his friends, I could careless about Bobinho, but safe sex is safe sex. I never ******** without a rubber, having 40 is better than having 0 and then needing a doctor visit in two weeks.
In what world? Cristiano still does his standing tricks to piss off defenders. Anyways, I think it is pretty telling that you've seen the light of "the new Cristiano" but refuse to see "the new Zlatan".

He doesn't trick pony and when he has used his ability, tricks or flicks has been for his teams benefit. Dude has matured greatly, yet many don't want to give credit because they don't like him or because his temper.

    Also Ibra isn't 29 or 28, he's 27.

I don't like players that don't like Madrid. That is why.

Here's an example, see Exhibit A:

    Exhibit A

"Me before Robinho attacked the club" - Keep Robinho.

"Me after Robinho attacked the club" - Get the ********ing pesetero out now.

    I hope this helps.

The reality of it IMO is that whoever has the chance to get in good with who they are with at that moment be it a coach or the fanbase they will take it, why not?

Not much to say to that so I will keep it short and to my opinion, when dealing with that much talent and he would be willing to join the club I would sign him in a heart beat. No point to hold grudges to something such as words when he can improve the squad.

I thought Robinho was so wasteful today it wasn't even funny. The amount of 3-on-2's he squandered was mindboggling. If Italy had scored and gone through proudly on a 3-1 defeat, I would've put a price on his head.

Kaka on the other hand had a good game.
