Plus the fact that Ricardo Oliveira was on both squads. I think that guy is cursed

wow, didn't think it would be Betis; shouldn't have been in the position of possibly needing a win on the last day

The only up was Lolo's dick knowing that he was still lining his pockets with Betis fans cash and still not getting thrown in jail for the financial skimming of Betis cash! Betis has been playing with fire for 4 seasons now and got burned. Any team who can only win 4 out of their 19 home games deserve to be relegated. The only reason relegation was achieved in week 38 was that everytime Betis lost so did Sporting and Osasuna. Any one with a brain knew that Chaparro was way over his head and Lolo's replacement of Nogues was his way of buying something cheap at a Everything a Dollar store, you get what you pay for. Look at Espanyol they were way below Betis in the table (18th place with 15 points after 19 matches) and fired Mane their second coach of the season and brought in Pocchetino and in the 18 games he lead them to a 9-6-5 record worth 33 points and they went 8-1-1 in their last 10 matches to finish in 10th place. Nogues went 3-2-4 for 8 points and the team slipped from 16th to 18th!! Betis only won the following games all season long:

    @Home
    Mallorca 3-0 (Wk-7)
    Racing 3-1 (Wk-11)
    Sporting 2-0 (Wk-31)
    Almeria 2-0 (Wk-36)

    On the Road
    Osasuna 0-2 (Wk-8)
    Numancia 2-4 (Wk-10)
    Sporting 1-2 (Wk-12)
    Valladolid 1-3 (Wk-19)
    Sevilla 1-2 (Wk-22)
    Racing 2-3 (Wk-30)

It is now or never for Betis and their fans to wrestle back the team from Lopera before he drains the remaining cash the team has and leaves the team in ruins. The club is in disarray, there is total decision paralysis since only Lolo can make decisions and he has no clue on how to run a club. He has been in charge of the club for 17 season and except for draining the clubs coffers they only have One Copa del Rey and one CL slot and 3 UEFA slots plus 2 relegations to show for!!

    Lopera Vete Ya!!!!!!

    Viva Er Beti Manque Lopera!!

    Er Pichi

BTW-The only consolation is that my other club 1.FCN won promotion to the Bundesliga today against Energie Cottbus so at least I will see one of my teams on TV next season.

It's not as easy as it looks. In many aspects Lolo reminds me of Hitler, he has his brown shirts (SA gang), they were evident and out in full force last Wednesday when a large number of Beticos went to the Calle Jabugo where Lolo's bunker is and started to do the usual chants of Lopera Vete Ya. Out of the blue come about 20 skin heads from the Supporters Sur Group and if not for the Police that were keeping a close tab on the Betis supporters there would have been mayhem. These are the same Supporters who 2 years ago were invited to the annual share holders meeting by Lolo and interrupted the proceedings threatening the opposition everytime they tried to bring up certain irregularities.

The images from the event after the match show the destruction that his supporters engage in and cause the police to qwell any type of demonstration that the rest of the Beticos are trying to have protesting Lopera. Last night they even had to resort to the mounted police as the angry Supporters Sur mob started throwing rocks and using trash cans as barricades while the 3K of supporters were chanting their disapproval at the club, lolo and the players.

The only way to get back at Lolo is where it hurts the most, his pocket book AKA the Betis coffers! A total boycott of anything Betis is the only way to rid this cancer from the club. No season tickets, no Betis products, magazines, Pay Per View TV, refusal to go to the advertised sponsors that are on the web page, stadium billboards and Betis magazines. At the same time while boycotting the home matches, massive movements to attend the away games through out Spain to show Lolo that we are Beticos and not his subjects!!

If we Beticos are unwilling to sacrifice and join the cause today there will be no Betis tomorrow.

Viva Er Beti Libre, Viva Er Beti Manque Lopera y Viva Er Beti Manque Pierda!!

Damn, I am sad to see Betis relegated to the 2nd division. You were one of the few teams in Spain that I very much enjoyed supporting and watching. Best of luck in the 2nd. Hopefully, you guys make it back to the 1st 2 years from now.

Wow what a mess. That final game was just horrible to watch. Even when Madrid and Recreativo were leading, I always had a bad feeling something wrong was going to happen.

Anyway, who do you guys expect to leave our squad:

    This is my prediction:

Edu to Atletico (farewell soldier.. he reject contract offer from Sevilla!)
Odonkor (spent more time scratching his butt then touching the ball)
M.Gonzalez (has opt-out contract if our team got relegated, so farewell.)
    Aurelio (back to turkey?)
Emana (top teams will be interested..)
Ricardo .... must be haunted now by that numancia gaffe.
Arzu ... having his car egged 10 x, yea no way is he staying.
    Juanito -- atletico m.
Pavone? although, I would give him a chance to prove himself in segunda.
    Monzon - back to boca
    Caffa -- to zaragoza
Sergio Garcia -- back to la liga, and whatever teams he joins will be relegated no doubt.

Oliveira would stay, but im sure Betis will not turn down any offer more than 8million Euros.

LOPERA SCUM BAG better sell his shares fast. I heard there will be a big demonstration on June 15th. We shall see........

BTW we have DANI back from loan..... Hooray..................

    Mushu Betis...

Betis has always been my second team (I have lots of family in Andalucia and lived there for a few years) and it really hurt to see them go down, but like the saying says: "No hay mal que por bien no venga". If they can get rid of Don Manué and start from scratch (I mean from the ciudad deportiva and the junior teams) it could be the start of a new dawn.

I believe there is one penha in NYC but no other ones here in the US. Here in San Jose, on 15-J this Betis household will have a banner with some choice words of inspiration hanging from the garage and about 3-4 of us waving our Betis flags protesting Uncle Lolo's total mismanagement, abuse, embezzlement at the club and his fascist thuglike strong hand approach towards the loyal opposition sometime late that afternoon!!

I am following the situation through www.diariodesevilla.es

    The latest is...

Tapia to coach. He coached Malaga to 8th in 1ra Division.

Lopera, in a cheesy cynical move, is rumored to consider giving Serra Ferrer control of sport operations and such, like a General Manager... yeah riiiiight... Sounds like a manufactured rumor to me...

Check this: RAFAEL GORDILLO (one of my 1st idols ever) a Betis legend will march with the Beticos against Lopera on June 15. (BTW another alumni Rincon was fuming after the last game on Cadena SER... Lopera is NOT loved by ex-players)

Other than that, Generalíssimo Manué is in hiding 'cause he knows a betico or two would kick his sorry a$$...

The march better work. If Lopera hangs on this club might never recover.

Although Hispalis is very far away from San Jose California "Tierra Betica" this Betis household will have anti-lopera banners and Betis flags hanging from the roof and will be all decked out in Betis regalia doing our part on 15-J to show our support for our Betis and to do anything we can to get rid of Lolo!!

You'll enjoy this latest video on Youtube which is entitled "The sinking and Lopera gets pissed off"

No No... I was being sarcastic  Im sure the guy will be transfer listed or loaned out... Tapia will want nothing to do with him.

Arzu seems like he wants to leave -- http://goal.com/en/news/12/spain/2009/06/18/1333470/arzu-cannot-stay-with-real-betis-agent. Silly excuse really, but he was one of our worst performers last season!

Juanito is on his way to Atletico Madrid, having almost reached agreement.

Tapia see's Pavone as an integral part of his team for the forthcoming season, so maybe it'll be his time to shine.

Odonkor is close to a move to Cologne.

What do you guys think of the management decision to keep the ticket prices the same for the forthcoming season? Doesn't sound right to me..... But Newcastle are doing the same! Wow Im so surprised how at how similar Betis and Newcastle are. Both have large fanbases, both have crappy management... I could go on..

Lolo says that he wants to keep ticket prices the same due to the loss of TV revenue in Segunda. After initial backlash from supporters he's now offering those who buy season tickets this year will not have to pay the new increase the following year when according to Lolo Betis will be back in Primera. On top of that Kappa finally got dumped as uniform manufacturer since contract is expiring. Betis will use their in house RBB to make the new kit so all proceeds will go to Lolo's pocket book even if he sells his stock by the start of the season.

What is finally picking up steam is something I have been saying for 2+ years now is that the only way to get to Lolo is via his pocket book and that means boycotting Betis (season tixs, jerseys, PPV etc) and lots of fans have said that they will not renew season tickets until Lolo sells his shares. Though most of these guys will also be doing some serious roadtrips to see them play on the road, much like the last time they were in second many stadiums were 1/3 to over 1/2 full of Beticos.

POR UN BETIS LIBRE LOPERA VENDE Y VETE YA!!
