Awesome time last night, thanks to all who helped out. We even had some newbs drop off some food and help clean up. That's the Barra spirit!
I agree, we should have 5 minute minimum Best time was whole second half same song at away in Columbus few years ago when we were down to 10 guys hehe Chicago when we were down 4:0 in playoffs few years ago, it's from about 75th (or whenever buncha smoke bombs went off) till stoppage time, I have it on dvd somewhere
Great Tailgate and great support/chanting....it helped ease the pain for Rimini being relegated a couple of hours earlier...
good job by HK! thanks for what you guys do. if anyone who knows who has the taps for the kegs or knows who may have borrowed or stole them from the thursday night match, please place them back in the Pod, we only had one tap for this match as Paul (SE) was very kind to let us borrow one of his, or we would not of had taps at all. last night was alright, def not the best the barra has brung.......ALOT, and I mean ALOT of new people who just stand there, but hey one day mabye they wont and they wil learn to respect the barra. from the rest of the crew great jobs and LBB...like what Rick says, we plan on switching songs a couple of times last night, but we decided to just keep them rolling, i think they need to go on longer then they do as they catch on for the most part.
Another great effort. Hat's off to all in HK. Sorry I couldn't get there more often with the icy drinks. It took me two hours just to get once to the far end of the parking lot. Had a trio of dads that brought their kids. They had been with us last year. they didn't stop singin' and dancin' The kids loved it--future Barra comin' up right. Then the result made it all very, very sweet. Bummer to have to wait so long until the next home match. See you guys in Columbus though.
Had an absolute blast. Hopefully everyone enjoyed the popcorn I brought (sorry about the ghetto packaging ) VAMOS UNITED
The most successful organizations I've ever been part of always had someone whose role within the organization was that of "group scapegoat." We could certainly do worse than Scruggs for that position.
Usually, it's the most recent guy to leave. In college, we used to blame an entire year on someone. Therefore, anything that went wrong in that year was their fault. 2009 could be Scrugg's fault. I blame 2008 on AJ, just 'cause.
