And we won!!!! 2 x 1!!! Santos overplayed são paulo!

São Paulo is complaining about santos' goals, they really were hard situations to the referee...

Cruzeiro won too, and the difference still 8 points!

In the middle of this week santos played against guarani in vila... well the result was 1 x 1.... and santos had a legal goal disaffirmed by the referee, and we lost 2 points...

And yesterday Santos had another tie 2 x 2 against São Caetano... even robinho scoring the fastest goal of the championship, 12 seconds, we lost more 2 points...

And nobody stops Cruzeiro, I'm afraid to admit that we already have the champion!! what a great campaign!!!

It's not because Cruzeiro don't loose any points, but because santos don't win their points!!

only a miracle could make cruzeiro loose the title...

Indeed. But as I said before, there's plenty of games ahead. Could possibly be that I'm the only one that is precautious about this title?

Talking about title, I had strongly supported Santos last year in the finals, and I've celebrated the title as one of my own club. Now, It would not hurt if someone else (besides you Santos fans, of course) support our campaign at least once :]

well there's still a light at the end of the tunnel....

    Santos' next games are:
    @ Bahia
    @ Coritiba
    Corinthians
    Vitoria
    @ Ponte
    Fluminense
    @ Goiás
    Grêmio
    @ Vasco

    Cruzeiro's next games are:
    @ Inter
    Figueirense
    @ Fortaleza
    Grêmio
    @ Vasco
    @ Paraná
    Paysandu
    Fluminense
    @ Bahia

I don't have to say that Santos CAN'T loose any more points and root to Cruzeiro loose every!!!!

looking game by game of both teams I think Santos have more tough games, but Santos usually have more troubles in easy games!!

    Good article on Robinho:

Well Cruzeiro won 1 x 0 against Figueirense, and the difference still 6 points...

Wednesday Santos will play in Peru against Cienciano, which we tied in vila (1x1) to sulamericana's cup...

After being eliminated by Cienciano in Sulamericana's Cup, Santos played against Corithians in vila, in a rainy sunday...
And Santos won 3 x 1... In the last 7 games against Corinthians Santos won 6 and tied 1, so corinthians is what we call here, "freguês"!!!

Cruzeiro also won against Fortaleza, 2 x 1... the difference is still 6 points...

Santos is indeed doing marvelously in the last few games, since Robinho recovered his shape (or his talent). Now the question is: why is that so? If the team had played like this since the beginning of the second turn, I believe that the difference between Santos and Cruzeiro would still be 6 points - but Pro-Santos, probably.

yeah but santos lost both games to cruzeiro and tied a couple of easy games at vila... we have been damage by the referee in a few games, but I won't go in this merits.... and also a team can't play well every game!

Robinho renewed his contract with santos... now it goes to 2007, and the fine for breaking the contract is now U$50M...

Santos is keeping the faith and is still winning, again we turned the gme on against vitoria, 3 x1.
the bad part is that cruzeiro is still winnig too.

Paulo Almeida, Alex, Elano and Robinho were called up to U23

Diego and Renato were called up to the main brazilian team...

Santos next game is Ponte, Cruzeiro is Vasco...

we won again, 4x3 against Ponte, in Campinas.
Elano, Diego (2) and Renato scored the goals...

Cruzeiro also won 1x0 against Vasco...

the difference remains the same, 6 points...

In the current stage, Santos is just unbeatable. Four goals per match in the last 5 games... The team inspire confidence even when starting behind.

If Cruzeiro is the most efficient team of the championship, Santos, on the other hand, is undoubtely playing the best football around there.

Any predictions for the next match against Brazil U-23 team? Indeed, it will be interesting see Robinho acting against his teammates...

That's True Lex Bouvier, but the title already has an owner, only a miracle would change it...
well santos might be crushed, we will not have Alex, Paulo Almeida, Renato, Elano, Diego and Robinho... actually u23 will have Alex, Paulo Almeida, Elano and Robinho....
