Re: Dynamo to play USOC game in College Station The reverse of all that is just having the match at Carl Lewis Stadium so that most of us in town can make it to the USOC match. Playing ******** Arenas out there was cool cuz it was done in a pinch from Maggard's lame scheduling help, but our Dynamo have done just fine playing the in the Open Cup here in town. We dismantled Carolina Dynamo at the Rob in '06 and dispatched FC Frisco at Carl Lewis. It is outside Houston that our Dynamo guys fall to pieces in this Cup competition Brahma. That and just a crap line up versus a half way decent USL team like Charleston.
Re: Dynamo to play USOC game in College Station The thing that sucks is that its going to be on a Tuesday so I imagine that outside of the SGs and some very dedicated STH, there won't be many from Houston that will make it to the game. I have no idea why the game is going to be in College Station but the last time Houston hosted a USOC game in Houston, all of 4,000 people showed up to watch a quarterfinal match against one of the Dynamo's most hated rivals. At least the game will be played on a nice pitch. A&M's field is 1000X better than Robertson.
Re: Dynamo to play USOC game in College Station When we played Puntarenas in CS there was a good crowd, and that was on a week night too. And we won! And yea, their field is spectacular, and it's a lot closer to the stands than Carl Lewis.
it's just another chance to dog pile behind the opposing team's goal after one of our goals. ahh the memories.

I know that's why my fat a$$ was at the top of the bleachers because I knew that would happen. My biggest worry was when the ref's assistant's came over. I thought a bunch of us were getting tossed.
AHHH Crap !!!!!!My boss is gonna have fits, if I take off to go to this game. I am already losing time for Chicago and planning on flying into Kansas two days after this match.!! Maybe I'll just take a week's paid vacation for this week. Guess we better start a travel car sharing thread. BTW: No idea what time this game starts?

I also have a connection to the people at Zapatos and can probably get you guys in touch with them if needed. The barricade things around the field were redone last year as a permanent fixture. Please don't break them.

It does have that wonderful CCL carrot. However, with the way we're playing, Dom wants to win Supporters Shield and/or MLS Cup.
