    That sucks.

My wife and I made a trip to a major national MLS-sponsoring sporting goods store right after work to get some camping gear and on the way there I said to her, 'what do you wanna bet they will have the game on and ruin it or at least highlights"--- sure enough.

And man was it loud. But it was only a lengthy highlights and commentary section of a show (probably sportscenter), so I made a complete fool of myself standing in the store rubbing my hands over my ears for about 5 minutes while shopping so that the sound of the friction would drown out the blasting tv sound.

The only thing I thought I heard was something about a player and coach winning the cup--- which I tried desperately to force myself not to think about, because the answer would have been obvious. I kept trying to distract myself by shopping and talking with my wife about the products--- all while rubbing my ears with my hands. I was all the way in the back of the store so it would have taken 2 minutes just to get out.

So, moral of the story, you can go to the above referenced store next time you want to not pay for tv service.

I watched it at the Drafthouse also, it was my first time going there and it was pretty nice, big HD projection screen.

Arlington Soccer Assoc. hosted it and had some give aways at half time, it looked like a DC Jersey (won by a loud-mouth in the front) and tickets to the next Red Bulls game (won by some kids).

If they do this for another International or DC game I would definity go again, BUT if the game isn't broadcast in HD I'm not sure how good it would look on their projection screen...

It was a nice shirt btw.

Yea I can't see a standard television match broadcast looking too superb on the projectors. But the atmosphere was nice, and I'd definitely go again.

Maybe next time, I get the tickets too.
