Not RailHawks Related, but a nice game in town tonight.

The Cary Clarets are playing for a berth in the US Open Cup tonight (Sunday 5/24) at 5pm at Middle Creek Park (123 Middle Creek Park Avenue, Apex, NC).

The scenario that has to play out for Cary to get into the US Open Cup is this:

    1) Cary MUST win tonight vs. Reading.

    2) Then Cary must await the result of the Fredricksburg v. Northern Virginia match tomorrow at 6pm. A win by Fredricksburg puts them in over Cary. A draw or a Northern Virginia win would put the winner of the Cary/Reading match into the Cup.

So come out tonight and cheer on our local boys as they try to qualify and you should be able to get back home in time to catch the RailHawks at Austin match on USL Live.

Actually Cary could get through with a win tonight and a Fredricksburg win, but it would come down to goal difference between the two.

So we need a BIG win tonight to pad that goal differential.

    Epiccc! Come on you Clarets!

Don't forget Burnley is in the Championship promotion play-off final! Hopefully the Cary Clarets will be able to market their partnership better if Burnley is promoted.

Anyways I'd like to see a USOC Raleigh Derby :).
