Eh, seemed like Osei just ran a little too far, past Wynne. Wouldn't say Wynne "owned" him.

THAT is why Shalrie should not be up top!

Like I thought, finishing once again is killing us. Shalrie should have made it 2-1 and Ralston's early shot still looms in the back of my head. We're not playing bad, but we HAVE to put those chances away.

I think Nyassi has to come on for Thompson. The way his brother played against TFC would make me think that they can't deal with that speed and Thompson isn't making a good case for himself.

Greg Lalas is dumping on Wells, for good reason, but he's saying that maybe when Albright is healthy he could play there or Alson could push up. Why has Nyassi dropped off his radar?

Ralston does well to keep it, but can't do enough to get a shot off in front of goal.

What scares me that, as mediocre as Toronto is, we have nobody who can even come close to DeRo, Guevarra, and even Chad "I miss sitters for a living" Barrett up top in terms of wheels and skills.

Sure Rally is great, but he's really just a midfielder playing out of position.

I'm uncertain why Nyassi randomly was put in the dog house, I can't recall anything he's done that would force a benching, but maybe he's struggling to come back from injury.

I'd hope he comes in for Wells at the half. Dube could come in and Ralston push out wide, but I like Ralston and Joseph up top right now, they seem to be playing off each other very well.

    Halftime stats:

    NER TFC
    Total Shots: 5 10
    Shots on Goal: 2 7
    Total Saves: 6 1
    Fouls: 4 4
    Offsides: 2 1
    Corner Kicks: 2 1

If things don't get better than this, we are in trouble.

Was chatting with a friend as the game started

    Almost right...

They let off around the 40th minute and haven't been able to come back. I want to see Thompson off for Nyassi and maybe with 10 left push Shalrie back for Phelan and bring in Dube.

Why is Tierney off for Nyassi, and why the hell is Wells still there carrying a yellow to boot?

I'm furious at the sub, especially considering we've now made TWO subs and he's still on the field. I hope he gets a red so Nicol regrets his moves.

Interesting tidbit, the 4th official is a female. I don't think I've ever seen a female referee in an MLS game.

Looking back we had plenty of attacking play, but weren't shooting. Far too often in the second half we were passing across field and not putting it into dangerous spots as we did in the first half.

Wells wasn't the worst player on the field, but I'm done with him. He had a couple of good runs but for the most part was muscled off the ball and all blame goes to him for TFC's first goal.

Ralston and Shalrie were taken out after a half hour or so by TFC's defense, but no other player stepped up. This was a great chance for Larentowicz to shine, but when the spotlight was placed on him he fumbled badly.

Osei and Barnes were for the most part a success, despite the three goals I think they were the best players on the pitch.

I see this game changing if Shalrie puts away the sitter where he touched six or so times before shooting.

We played well and it's an improvement for sure, but we need to start shooting more. If you don't shoot you can't score, and if you can't score you can't get the three points. Obviously finishing those chances is a must.

I applaud the effort today, but it's still not where they need to be.
