    man i got off that plane and had a couple texts with the halftime score and final score and my curses echoed through an empty bwi aiport terminal--not curses we were kicking ass but curses about missing what must have the best night at rfk this year so far...

    Well, I'll be with you all in spirit, but in body I'll be in lovely Downington, PA at the Spirit United tournament. Hopefully DCU will fare better than I fear my son's team will.

    I won't make it because I really can't leave early today, my son has stuff to do so I can't take him with me, and my wife has an appointment after work so I can't leave right after work. Of course, there's always the chance I could make it from Woodbridge to the Soccerplex in an hour and a half. For example, I could win the lottery and buy a helicopter.

    On the upside, at least I'll be playing soccer; now I won't miss my 7v7 game. Huzzah for me.

    Vamos United, yell for me, wish I could be there, etc.

    I woke up late today. Plus, my car is about to go to the great gig in the sky, and I don't want that to happen today. I'd like to postpone that for as long I can. I also don't want to engage in Beltway rush hour traffic. At least it appears the game will be on TV.

    Made my only mid-week match of the season last week. No more mid-weekers this season. Boston calls (the town, not the team).

    I don't even think not going to a mid-week match at the Soccer Plex in BFMaryland even warrants a "not going to the match" post.

    But yeah, I won't be there either. And I'm not even in Austin.

    Two late nights in a row is a bit much for this blonde. I won't be there either as I'm going to the USA game tomorrow. I assume USLnet will be broadcasting in all their single camera glory?
