I'll be watching for sure, one of my best mates is a big United fan. It's a bit of a lose/lose situation though. I don't want Barca to win because I hate them and their whiny fans, but I also don't want United to win because of the whole back to back thing. If Barca win then in the whole history of their club, they have managed to equal Raul, which is a slight mocking point in the face of what is likely to be a triumphant treble at that point.

Maybe I'll just go into hibernation for a few weeks.

I think it's fantastic that somebody can sit in his nice studio and say "Didier Drogba, you cannot behave like that...".

Please, it's as if people want football players and athletes in general to be machines that just play and f*ck off to a dark place as soon as the final whistle is blown.

They should be lucky that it was just Drogba, and not Pablo Garcia (who has the chance of making the Champions League qualification round with PAOK!) , then they'd have to censor the whole segment.

I can only understand Drogba, my old man and i were screaming much worse stuff at the TV, and we're not even remotedly Chelsea fans.

Also, Valverde's contract wasn't extended in Greece, so he's basically free to coach either Sevilla or Atletico.

Of course they're gonna insult our team... we're in a rivalry thread, their whole lives revolve around hating us (quite a pathetic existence if you ask me), and they are jealous of Real Madrid and how we, playing football well below our expectations/reputation, still kept it quite close till the end. And, not to mention, we talk alot of shit about them, to be fair. Why do you act surprised by this? And why do you seem jealous of their success? Jealousy is a very weak emotion. Like I said, I thought we were better than that jealous obsession. I guess some of us our not. Have some dignity, please.

Listen, I'm not trying to extend the fig leaf to them, but I'm just sick of England taking over the whole continent and making our League look second class. I don't like Barcelona, I don't care about Barcelona, I'm not trying to make friends with them, or "nut hug". My viewpoint sees it as us (La Liga) vs. them (BPL), and the more all english finals we see and 3/4 of the semifinalists being English, and us getting knocked out of the 1st round 5 years in a row, twice by English opposition, and billionaires buying their clubs makes me worry.

I'm not worried about Barca, never have been, never will be. They are in a good spell, are playing good football, and have acheived success. We've done it before and will do it again. What does worry me is that our league and our brand is slipping. That's why I celebrated Barca's victory. I know they don't consider themselves a Spanish Club, but they are part of La Liga, our championship. That fact isn't up for debate, and that's the point. I'm not sure why people insist from digressing from that.

People say, "and they just beat us 2-6, how can you celebrate their CL triumph with them?". Yea, I watched that game live with my Cule cousin sitting right next to me. I was there for that. I was also there for the 3 - 0 drubbing they gave us at the Bernabeu with Ronaldinho, and seeing our fans standing and applauding them. Somebody explain the "Madridista tradition" behind that. I interpreted that as being that we are a gentleman's club of honor, that doesn't make excuses, and doesn't cry foul because our own team couldn't do the job. I don't make excuses, unless there are some to be made. There are none for that 2 - 6 drubbing, besides our administration had ********ed up, our players proved inadequate. Like I said, I'm not a worm that's going to be unreasonalby pissed at Barca for doing their job. I'm pissed at Real's bosses for not doing theirs.

So, we have different viewpoints, and I guess most everyone here wanted to see another all-english final, and listen to how much England's league dominates Spain, to put another big monkey on our back, make the Spanish Giants and their championship look second-rate, as long as Barca didn't go through. Not me.

So, that makes me less Madridista, and less of a fan, because I defended Barca's win (and, as I saw, the victory of our league) against bragadoccious/arrogant English fans that think parking the bus is a respectable way to play. I'm less Madridista because I thought this victory helped our league to stay relevant, and I wasn't so biased as to not see that the tie wholistically went the right way, with all things considered. That I stayed true to what I felt really happened, what really matters, and didn't hold my tongue about it because I feared that some of my "friends" at the Real Madrid forum might get their panties in a bunch. And then I get shit because I went to that forum and didn't talk about it here, where, clearly, no one wanted to hear about it anyways.

Few here seem to understand this, and most everyone here must assume that I like Barcelona, am a closet-cule, and am considering switching sides from the way I have been talked about. Well, my only regret now is stooping to argue with some of you about it. Because when one insists in arguing with a fool, as the saying goes, he must clearly be a fool himself. This is what I get for being honest and exercising independent judgement. And here I always thought those were admirable qualities. Believe what you want, I'm done now.

2nd Half of the U17 match between Spain and France just kicked off. Isco just got on and if he keeps playing like he has in the past 5 mins this match is well worth watching.

Since i wrote the post i don't think Isco managed more than 3 consecutive touches on the ball. France have been sitting deep ( Think Chelsea in the first leg ). Plus most of Spains players have been guilty of trying to do too much.

With the kind of game Spain were having, it was fiiting for them to end up missing a chance like that.

Err, I believe Franco ruled from 1939-1975. During that period Barcelona won 8 La Liga titles and Real Madrid won 15.

Ronaldo was not happy at being substituted for the boy rooney around the 65th min mark. Threw all the toys of the pram too. Fergie didn't look happy.
Quite an exaggerated response by him. Threw his jacket away as well. He's still sulking on the bench and shaking his head.

    He's a crack with a C and a R.

    Sign him up.

He's averaging goals per game just with FK's FFS.

Ronaldo's attitude is fake. This is not the first time he's substituted, and it even made sense.I wouldn't be surprised if he starts yapping like he does every summer.

As funny looking as Tevez is, he has a great personality. You can understand why the fans love him.

Ronaldo is acting like a spoiled brat. This kind of behavior is completely unnecessary. So he was subbed once in God knows how many games. Big ********ing deal..
If he wants to force his departure I'm sure there are better ways.
