Findley is so good. I am totally in the boat for trading Beckham, and Donovan for Findley and one of his clones

i think Buddle pressed the "B" button way to hard on that goal attempt. btw, does anyone know how many minutes we have trailed this season. Seems like an eternity!

Bruce Arena's tactics tonight are just blantantly obvious.

bunker down with 11 behind the ball. hope for turnover or miss laid pass spring Donovan (fastest player in MLS) or Buddle (strong striker who can break free) to go one on one with the keeper.

Basically suck RSL into our defensive half making sure there backline is up high and flop a well placed long ball into space for our forwards to run on to.

We have had some decent oppurtunities in the first half, but none came from this tactic.. most set plays. or combinations of passes that saw the ball put into the box.

IF anyone doesn't know bruce arena... this is the same, very same tactic he used in WC 2006. especially against Italy.

I suspect RSL to play tight for the first 15 minutes of the second half.. then look to bunker themselves and try and work a counter for a late brace.

    1 Findley = 5 goals
    2 Findleys = 10 goals

    1 Donovan = 4 goals
    1 Donovan + 1 Beckham = 4 goals

    10 goals > 4 goals

A speed demon with limited skill is most effective when the other team is gassed so he can get behind the D easier than if he started as one of the 11.

In 2008 we could sometimes pass him the ball at any point in the field and he would do some fancy moves into the box and laser it into a perfect spot. At other points he would play like he is doing now

Are you kidding? Edson is pretty damn good. He didn't have that much time on the ball right there. They were closing in on him and he couldn't wait for it to stop bouncing. You will see him come through.

I like Jordan but there is no way Jordan will ever start over Buddle. Buddle can hold the ball up very well and he has a calm head. Just wait and relax.

Goals aren't everything Brosef...plus Beckham is a midfielder smart guy, he's not meant to score goals...he sets them up...hence the Galaxy being one of the league leaders in scoring last year.

You have got to be kidding, right?

Buddle is finding his form. His possession has been solid tonight and he is by far one of the best players on the G's with the ball at his feet. Jordan can hardly dribble.

You'll get your Jordan soon enough. Klein has to come off sometime.

You need to calm down. Unless you didn't know, most teams in MLS don't have great access to cloning technology. Hence the impossibility of my plan.
In other terms: I was joking

    Thank you!

Edson is shooting the ball and that is what we need. I thought he was fouled a couple of times the first half.

    I still like our chances
