Fixed. What crap. Glad I was at school and didn't see this match.
Won't watch the final either. I think I'm going to root for Man United for the first time in my life which makes me wanna puke too. I feel like crying. :(

I appreciated Hiddink's comments. The fact that a coach of his stature would question the veracity of the officiating today says all that needs to be said about the match.

I'll take solitude in the fact that Barcelona will get destroyed in Rome. Of course, the European media will write off the loss as beautiful football getting subverted by a well-rounded defensive team.

I honestly can not remember a match that was SOO blatantly decided by a ref. Sure we cry about calls week in and week out but this match was without a doubt decided by an inept ref.

Someone please tell me the last time? I can't remember one being so egregious.

Hey Sloppynachochewer, factor in the reality that ajudicating a Norwegian Premier League match is not quite the same as refereeing a CL semi-final.
The ref. was absolutely crap. 3 clear penalties denied, the handball by Piqué and the shirt-tug on Drogba being certain penalties. I'm outraged at the outcome of this game. Its a total trasvesty of footballing justice and I join my fellow posters in protesting loudly at this bullshit result.
I don't mind (well I do) being beaten by a decent team. I do mind being denied crucial decisions which in the end cost us dearly. Guus is presently on TV barely holding his composure. I'm ********ing pissed off and angry its probably best I bid you goodnight.

On any respectable forum, that would be removed, I recommend it to deter any further comments like that....

fixed or not, nothing could be said to defend the refs officiating, and the fact that he cost us this game. its clear as crystal, he ripped this game right out of our hands.

i also agree with yasik on the fact that guus should have put on kalou for drogba.

but nothing could be said to defend the refs officiating, and the fact that he cost us this game. its clear as crystal, he ripped this game right out of our hands.

PS: i have instant replay on my 52 inch high def TV, and the free kick drogba took as a result of malouda's first ungiven penalty, was punched out of the way by a barca player, only to be save by valdes. so thats another handball on the list. yesss it happened, non ofe jerk offs can argue that unless you can show me otherwise, i would post it but i dont posses the knowledge to record from tv to computer..... check it out yourselves.

Tell me about it. I don't think I've ever seen anything that bad. I've seen a lot of football in my 33 years, both professional and amateur games. The closest I've come to seeing something that blatant was in an amateur sunday league game believe it or not.

As a neutral I was outraged by the joke today's game was, I can only imagine how do Chelsea fans feel.

To me it really feels like Barça-United was the final Uefa wanted.

These devastating losses are getting to be a bit much. I am absolutely gutted about this result. But you know what? We didn't finish them off pure and simple.

A man is judged on how he acts in the face of adversity.

Frank Lampard: Mother passes away, scores the next week. Feels aggrevied by a radio host, calls in and makes a persuasive case. Tonight, shakes the hand of Iniesta and swaps shirts.

Didier Drogba: Gets sent off in last year's final for a stupid slap forcing JT to take the penalty. Mourinho's forced out and he sulks to the press. Don't forget all of the playacting and rolling around. Tonight, he runs onto the pitch, berates the refere and then blatantly swears on International TV futher inflaming the situation at the Bridge.

Let me be the first to say it:

DROGBA OUT! He is not fit to wear the shirt because all he does is bring dishonor to it.

arsenal fan and barca sympathist here, but was really feeling for you guys today. absolutely deserved the win, it was crushing to see how that ended. I honestly felt sick watching it

just don't talk about a conspiracy theory, about a fix by uefa. maybe they favored barca in this one, but that wouldn't explain a 90th minute winner like that. even so just think that you were almost good enough to beat the fix. really admirable performance, and wouldve favored you guys to beat f-ing man u in the finals.

It wasn't decided by the ref, Barca scored making it 1:1, but they get to advance because of a gay away goal rule? Should of went to extra time.

how is that ironic ? If you don't have anything useful to say just feck off.
I still can't believe the idiotic refereeing. How can you possible deny 2 crystal clear penalty's? What was in his mind. Was he trying to compensate the red card with giving no 2 clear penners. This guy should be banned for all international competitions.
To lose against the "best" footballing nut-jobs in the world is one, but losing it in this dramatic fashion where an inept ref wants to take front stage :mad:

You don't get it. Any other time, you're posting an opinion, right now, you're trolling. If you don't understand the difference, you're not a true fan. Now you were asked nicely to leave.

No, what you did was make a vague comment that is grammatically incorrect. If you plan on actually giving an opinion maybe you should engage in a discussion. If not its best you take your comments to another board. As it is you seem to be on a windup, especially after what is a pretty sour day for Chelsea fans. I understand if Barca fans came here, but to be honest there have been very few. Probably more to do with the fact that on the day they certainly didn't look the best attack in world football LUCKY, very LUCKY to go through. Was not impressed by them in either leg.

Weren't you the idiot who was celebrating when the goal went in? Then you went on like some bitter delusional nonsense about Ballack and WC 2002? Now you want to change the rules of the game. :p Silly nonsense.

TBF, he made a mistake in slapping Tevez irrc. But I don't blame him one bit for his reactions tonight. Not his, not Ballack's, not Ashley's. It's only human to react that way after that disgrace of a performance by a ref. Any person in their shoes, would probably react the same. Even Hiddink defended the players:

You got to understand, for some of these guys, this was their last chance to win the cup. And like Hiddink said, it wasn't one bad decision, but multiple ones.
