Kevin and I are meeting later and we will post something, then e-mail/call everyone on the trip with the information. We had a few people cancel last minute so if you or anyone else knows a friend that might be interested get them to come!

15 of us are going up as a group. I think there are several others that are driving up on their own, from what I heard.

As for future trips, those that were going to go on my bus were doing so because they did not want to stay in a hostel. Also, I think that Toronto is the only place that we are limited on the number of tickets. So, for the other potential away games - Chicago, DC & maybe KC, having different groups working on buses shouldn't really pose a problem.

And the rumor you mentioned from 2 weeks ago, was a part of the reason that this bus was cancelled. I'm not sure who or why it was started but that was why some didn't send in their money for my bus. Not everyone wants to ride up with HSH/CSU/LTA. Personally, I think it would be a blast. But not everyone shares my feelings. I think some of those that travel to the away games consider themselves big Crew Supporters but not members of the Supporters Groups.

Giving people options is always a good idea...

If I try to do another bus, I still won't be able to get to the same price as the supporters bus.

As for the tickets, Kevin was given the chance to buy 40 more tickets from the TFC front office. He declined so the tickets were released to the public.

About the proof of citizenship. Is the birth certificate the same one i got when i was born or am i supposed to have some official looking birth certificate with like "US Citizen" stamped on it? I had to dig through like 20 old photo albums to find mine.

I also forgot to pay blake while i was in Columbus. Oops. I can paypal Blake or Kevin maybe?

The certificate just needs the official stamp, which my original has so I will assume most have them. If you do have a passport bring that though!

    EDIT:
Send Kevin or me an e-mail and we can send you a paypal invoice for the trip.

Everyone generally takes USD around here and most businesses including BMO field love it when you bring it in becasue they will absolutely screw you on the exchange rate!

My best advice is to hit a bank machine before arriving at the stadium. There are machines at BMO, but they are very few and far between so you can expect to stand in line for a half hour.

Not the main reason. The high prices in comparison with the other bus was the main reason.

And, the only place I heard that was at Ruby's. Anyone there would be on the other bus. Nice try though.

Organizationally wise it's a crap idea. Mainly people in the section are going to want to go, as can be seen by the one bus almost filled compared to these "big time Crew fans who don't like supporters contigent & like fine bedding", which by your count was 11. I don't buy your argument because 11 isn't enough to fill a bus and is a fine ammount to go by car. And, Crew fans are Crew fans. It's not like sex, drugs, and debauchery are going on on the other bus.

The supporters have the organization. If people want to go on a bus trip join their buses. If 11 people find the supporters bus appalling, then drive.

I just don't get why one guy has to start up bus trips by himself every time?

Just let the supporters handle it. That's what every other group does and they seem to get larger crowds than us.

Until you can fill a non-supporters bus at high prices, I would just shelf the idea.

I highly recommend against that. Lineups are atrocious as it is. Cash will be faster.
Suggest hitting a bank or money exchange place

Anybody know if the road construction is continuing between Hamilton and Toronto this year? And if so, is it worse and should we allot more time to getting there?

Over the past month several people contacted me asking for individual tickets. I was able to help a couple people with the extra non-bus tickets I had from my initial order. When only 117 tickets are available for the match and two buses are planned there are not many tickets left for people wanting to make their own travel plans. As soon as I was informed that the second bus had been canceled and that tickets were available I contacted those who initially wanted individual tickets asking if they still wanted them. Some people had already chosen to ride the supporters bus, some had canceled their plans, and others didn't respond.

If anyone is in need of individual TFC tickets send me a PM and I'll forward you the contact info for the TFC rep that handles away supporters.

Unfortunately, I would cough on all of you too. Are you all willing to be martyrs in the great holy war? You'll all get elementary schools and rec centers named after you.

There are no current construction projects on the QEW/Gardiner Expressway between Hamilton and Toronto. On a Saturday morning you should take about 1-hour to get from the Burlington Skyway (the big bridge that goes past the ugly factory) to downtown Toronto.

It took me exactly 7-hours to get to Columbus from Toronto on March 28.
