    FT 1-0.

Like I mentioned at half time it looks like Chivas was uncomfortable on the artificial. TFC didn't impress me one bit the entire match even though they won.

if thats the case then Toronto got away with 1 last year against Chicago at BMO...Ricketts took the PK and the goalie didnt trap it and Ricketts knocked it in

    It's not the case.

Go youtube 2005 Champions League Final.

Xabi Alonso takes PK, Dida parries it, and Xabi smashes it into the net.

Only example I can think of, but its a good one.

It only has to hit the goalkeeper.

Sam Cronin delivered some incredible passes tonight, even on the worst pitch in the league. He actually forced Toronto into a something of a box midfield to put him into his best position, centrally next to Robinson.

TFC is crying out for a 3-5-2 with Wynne and Ibrahim on the wings, Cronin and Robinson sitting in the central midfield, Guevara a-mid and Dero paired with Dichio. Barrett's "hustle" and lack of composure in front of goal is nauseating for someone calling themselves a striker.

This team could probably use one or two more central defender types for that 3-5-2 that their personnel would seem to dictate.

Chivas USA has no one to hold the ball up, either as a #10 or a back-to-goal striker. And they have zero ability to win aerial balls in the attack. Their subtle passing was lost on the wet BMO cement.

I meant to say any player on the field, including the goalkeeper.

Couldn't post last night, but a deserved win for Toronto.

and sorry to yell, but NO MORE TURF FIELDS IN MLS. I don't give a damn how enthusiastic the supporters are, that game was ruined by turf. Garber should be forced to watch that game endlessly for approving a single more turf field in the league.

qft, It looked like they were playing on wet pavement at some points during the game. Makes you realize why Toronto stays away from night games.

The BMO turf looks like a sheet of green ice during rainy night games.

Its even worse in person than on television.

FWIW, when I read you were using a Red Roff Inn wireless signal, I also thought of how popular a destination that is for those in the field of prostitution. Unrelated, I have had problems with the provider they use. It's never a constant connection. It is throttled and several ports are blocked.
Frankly, New England needs all of the immigrants and trafficked women they can get to be slightly comepetitive with women around the country.

    //what did I just type?
