This is a killer deal. $12.50 to get into the game with Fireworks. Cheapest ticket of the year. Normally 4 of the cheapest tickets with a parking pass would be $90? or $22.50 per person.

Plus it's LA, Plus fireworks, Plus you can go on the field after the game. :)

Not bad. It's nice to see the FO being aggressive. Too bad they have Salinas on this ad in the Murk today.

    Tell your friends. ;)

    Oh and I don't give a ******** about Beckham.

Wow! That is a good deal. It's good to see the front office actually marketing the team. I like the Verizon sponsorship too.

Now for some almost dumb questions. I do not live in the Bay Area as most of you are well aware. So I don't get to see the Quakes marketing efforts down there. What are they doing to market the team? I hear that there are some billboards? Bus signs? Are they doing any radio spots? Is there a campaign (besides Don G) to put up posters and free schedules in pizza places and burger joints? What else is EQLLC doing to promote the team?

    thanks!

    GO QUAKES!! :D

So far this year I've seen TV spots, heard radio spots, seen multiple large bill boards around the valley, seen a few internet ads so far and seen dozens of bus billboards around town.

I was pleasantly surprised a week or so ago by that huge "What's a Huckerby" billboard on 880. I'd like to see them all over the Bay Area.

My husband, IrishQuake, sent this e-mail today to all our friends (most of these folks have been to Quakes matches through our invitation and some new). If you're a loss for words, please feel free to copy and paste:

SUBJECT: QUAKES + GALAXY = FIREWORKS!

Hi Folks! Just wanna let y'all know about a pretty good deal for a night out in these lean economic times! This coming Saturday night April 18th the Earthquakes take on their most beloved ::ahem:: rivals the LA Galaxy at the Coliseum in Oakland. Then after the game stick around 'cause it's also fireworks night. The deal is.... 4 tickets to the game and fireworks show plus one parking pass for $50. To get tickets go to:-

    http://sjearthquakes.mlsnet.com/t110/tickets/promos/fireworks/

If you deduct the cost of the parking (at last season's rates) it works out at a mere $8.75 per ticket, it's a steal. Rally up some friends and family a get a group of 4 for a little something different to do on a Saturday night!

Wear your Blue and Black! Go Quakes!

    Slainte!
    Sean.

Put it on your facebook page. Your friends will value your recommendations much more than what they see on the side of a VTA bus- not that theres anything wrong with advertising on a VTA bus.

I'm planning a week long facebook campaign. I wish I could find the Donovan picture with the caption "Everytime he scores a goal God kills a kitten"

Also doing so on a tall billboard across the street from Streetlight Records on Bascom Ave, in the space where Murray's used to be.
