She got hurt at a preseason game against the Univ. of Illinois, and are letting her rest.

Not only that, but Carney may not be available next week due to England playing a game against Norway on the 23rd, She may be missing for the opener. Unless they can get her a late flight out on Sunday night after the game.

announcer doesn't know what she's talking about; 3rd substitute is NOT the final substitute in WPS.

You know, you'd think that's the sort of thing commentators could spend their time on rather than just blabbering about utterly meaningless crap.

She's also been blabbering on too much when it comes to the WUSA. How long has that league been dead in the water?

not only that, she is clearly biased, and should just call the game, not insert so many of her own "thoughts" in

actually I kinda like the fact that an announced is biased; it's adding more excitement and personality into the broadcast at least.

Well 4 points in two games on the road playing 1 woman down. Not all that bad. Next week on Fox Soccer Channel at Toyota Park. I assume that Spilger will start instead of Ostberg and Christiane may start instead of Masar.

Great game to watch. Jonsson was superb!

I was surprised to see Rapinoe get subbed out so early. She was all over the field--and I thought that Masar or even Lloyd would get pulled before her.

Does anyone know what happened to Karen Carney? They said she was down in the box at the very end of the game. Hoping she was okay.

One of the announcers said it was a cramp. She just hit Scurry with her calf, I think.
