Erm, have a look at the troubleshooting stuff on the site. The subscriptions are pretty instant access which is cool. I bought it last week and straight away watched an archive game. Mine is working beautifully in 800k, so it is working. Might be something with your connection. What exactly isn't working on it?
It might be the internet provider. I can watch it with no problems at home, but at school it won't load the videos for anything, matchcenter, extratime, etc....
not in my case...works in 2 of my 4 browsers, so it's a programming issue on the part of the website designers i'd guess.
It works for me. To bad it doesn't freaking matter because soon as you open mlsnet.com/sights you get spoilers all over the page about who scored where, so once your already pissed off about learning about player A scoring a hat trick, you find the match you want to watch and click on it. Then the new window opens up with more spoilers all over the right side of the page. I want to watch the match. THE MATCH. I don't care about highlights of every GOAL IN THE GAME. I really really don't want it on the same page as my full match screen. WTF!? I paid 20 bucks(?) to have every game i'v tried to watch spoiled. Everytime i got to mlsnet.com/sights i make sure to bring the web browser half way down the screen before i open the page. Now i have to take my matchcenter screen all the way to the right so it blocks out all the spoilers. All while hoping my broadband doesn't load the page to fast. What a waste of money. This is the third game i'v had spoiled. BONUS: The crew vs RSL game spoiled the USA game. LOL. Spoilers make Baby Jesus cry. Fact. I just hate working all day and waiting to get home to watch the game and having the game spoiled before i even get settled down in my chair. Am i the only one that has this problem? Please let me know.
Retsam, I emailed MLS about the same complaint its FREAKING RETARDED that they would have the spoilers up on the video player!!! Can't they have one of the other tabs as the default tab that opens up when you use the player? I think there's one tab that tells you the times and dates of the other games...that would be the ideal tab to be open first. Bad customer service. Not even a response to my emailed complaint in over a week! P.S. It works on firefox for me. Do you guys have the latest version?
lol i agree the spoilers thing is a pain. But $20 for this much coverage is amazing. Back home I had to pay £30($45) just for radio coverage of one team!, and that team was in English Championship, what a rip off. I had to install windows xp on one of my spare machines and I use linux mainly. The video starts and works well on linux but there is some kind of authorization that makes it fall over after say 10 mins of streaming. Both IE and firefox work perfectly on windows. Besides the spoilers and windows thing I have to say I'm well impressed with what you get for $20, surely one of the best sports deals around.
Same. All they need to do to fix the visual is to make the default the "Featured" tab. I had to explain it twice because they didn't understand the first time (I probably did a poor job in explaining it, but at least they did get back to me. 2nd
Was it my imagination or did MLS Match Centre display an audio feed for Seattle/Toronto today, and what happened to it?
i'm watching the dynamo and dcu match right now and every once in a while the picture blacks out. the audio is still there, but the picture is gone for about 5 - 10 seconds. does anyone know why this may happen? is it happening to anyone else? could it be the tv broadcaster's fault?
Ok now mine is F ing up. It froze and i had to ctrl alt del it. Now when I log on it says i'm on multiple computers.
Sometimes it works well and sometimes it doesn't. It looks like they are just piggybacking off of the MLB system because the interface is *exactly* the same as when I used to use it to watch the Mariners. Sometimes the quality is so much better on the clandestine streams that I feel like my $20 just goes towards me not feeling like I am stealing when I watch the free streams. Also it would be nice if they didn't try to ding you for another $4 (or maybe 5?) to listen to the audio stream when the game is blacked out because of FSC or whatever reason. I imagine the licensing is different and they really wanted to keep the video streaming as cheap as possible. Lastly that 800k is the *worst* 800k I have ever seen. I know the Windows Media codecs are a bit shabby.. but it really seems like they are doing something wrong. I hope they at least learn about h.264 by next year. Still $20 and I get to see my home team from Europe. So I'll take it.
I had the same issue with the Galaxy/Rapids match last night. I am hating the spoilers as well. I also do not like the extra work of going to The multimedia tab to select the 800kb option. The good part about the 800kb rate was I hooked my 32" tv to my pc and watched the game at very near SD. Other than the picture blacking out for a few seconds it was pretty cool. Will be doing that on a more frequent basis, I can tell you that.

Hi Guys, This is my first post so greetings from spain!! I subscribed just last week in order to follow MLS from Spain and I must agree that for just $20 the service is awesome. The 800K is OK and I haven't had any issues with the stream. I agree that highlight videos shouldn't be placed on the same tab with the whole match I cover the right side of the screen with my hand and quickly go to full screen mode (thank god the links are at the left side of player!!!). In full screen mode the highlight links disappear
