good topic...as ronnie came in wit more hi hopes than becks i think when becks is on he field he helps more than ronaldinho on the field...beckham provides a balance in which we lacked...he widens the field playin on the flank, while supportin when zambrotta goes up for runs..he also playes a well central role...ronaldinho while we all thought would allow kaka to have more freedom has had is own role on the wing n which he has done well the balance between kaka n ronaldinho seems to be a lil harder to find...id give it up the becks right now...but when ronaldinho gets that balance, i dont think nething will be better

Casting aside the obvious which is their roles differ on the field.
    I'd say...
Individually Ronaldinho is better hands down,he has more weapons in his armory than Beckham.Only thing Becks has over R80 is probably his crossing.

But right now Becks is better for Milan than R80 because he provides added pace in our passing game,R80 tends to hold up the ball alot more which slows the game down and gives opponents time to park the bus in front of goal which is the general tactic for 90% of Milans' Serie A opponents.

Against teams who play a more open game i reckon R80 will be devastating and could have a much larger impact than Beckham would.

more for balance of the squad (in ancelotti's opinion) than with form/ability. they play two different roles.

now that kaka is out for a couple of weeks, though, dinho should get a good run of 90 minutes for a couple of weeks in a row, hopefully he takes advantage

    Diego,

Becks and R80 aren't filling the same spot on the field. Englishman fills for Gattuso, while Dinho surrendered his spot to Seedorf, all this, of course, with Milan (Carlo) maintaining a necessary balance on the field - not oversaturating attacking midfield or something like this.

I would use Ronaldinho in order to get Beckham from LA Galaxy permanently. I just see Ronaldinho as being burned out. He's made way too much money way to fast and his heart isn't in it the way it used to be, meanwhile Beckham is very hungry right now and is making a tremendous contribution to the team.

as much as I dont think beckam is any good, even when he was at madrid i never liked him. i'll have to agree with you.

beckam wants to play for Capello and he is trying his best.

Dinho is walking the park touring milano, he wants to show off his old moves, i dont think he is doing any good to the team but again i may be wrong.

milan is got too many old people, as much as i admire Maldini and Seedorf they are just not good young anymore.

as a madridista is kind of sad not see milan fighting out there for the champions league anymore... milan with barca were the teams of the 90s, and i hate to see milan playing the way they have been playing lately.

if i was ancelotti i'd let dinho go, he is not there to win tittles.

Because Ronaldinho is not the same player he once was. That offensive spark that he relied upon that made him such a threat is gone. When you take that out, you have a player that still has very special technical ability, but can't use it enough to help the team out. And he doesn't help the team enough in other areas such as marking and hustling.

If I were yous, I'd get rid of him as fast as physically possible. An absolute cancer on a team when he's like this (which, let's face it, he'll probably be until the end of his career). The best signing Barcelona made last summer was getting rid of R80. I'd love to see him play again but Ronaldinho, the great footballer, has retired.

nah, he's in much better shape, but still not all their mentally and has a lot of rust (understandable as he hasn't played a whole lot of late). hopefully he can snap out of the funk he has been in. in the ecuador match he was quite poor. baptista did much more than him in 3 minutes than dinho had done in 70.

Ronaldinho is a failed transfer for Milan. He was the president's signing. A glamour transfer more than purposeful. Same was the case with Shevchoker (sorry, but I don't respect him since his move to Chelsea). They don't belong in Milan.

Milan is a club that is being damaged from the inside because the management has an agenda for marketing rather than football. Things have to improve from inside first. I hope Michele Ferrero buys Milan and fires Silvio's staff except Gandini who IMO would make for a good GM. All others can go because they are the problem along with the President himself.

The club has fallen a lot from its heyday. There are widespread protests in the Curva Sud. Fans for the first time hurled abuse at Silvio and his GM boyfriend during the Kaka fiasco to City. Adriano Gaylliani needs bodyguards. His car tyres were slashed by Milan Ultras on his way back from Naples. The Curva Sud has protested many times in the past year. Things were never like this during Silvio's reign of over 2 decades. It is the worst time during his era which is an indication enough of how much the club has fallen and how far the fans are from the management and their wicked ways. Everything changed after Calciopoli.

We need a new owner. Times have changed.
