Between the legs. It's a hockey term. If you're looking at the goalie, holes 1-4 are the corners, so the space between the legs is the 5 hole.

Of course will be a good idea to try him there, like I say too about LB, we have none right now, Boyens and Goldy as LB stinks, so until Pacheco is not ready Try Khano for this two games and trow in front of him Kandji, Like this:

    .................Cepero

    Mendes....Petke....Stammy....Khano

    .............Celades....Hall

    ..Richards.......Rojas*........Kandji

    ..............Angel
*.-Really I will play Luke here instead of Rojas....

The experience in playing Goldy, Boyens, Pietra, etc. show us that we will not loose anything, at the contrary I thing we will win a lot, we will have for the LB Khano, Hall, Kandji to bring the freaking ball to Angel, for the center will be Celades and Rojas and for the left Celades and Richards....If we keep the same line-up we are "kaput"......

    This one is great

Pietravallo - 3 - How does a player run this much while covering so little ground? Lacks focus and purpose with and without the ball. Failed to track Brad Evans out of the midfield on the second goal. One wonders if his presence on the roster is necessary when Stammler and Celades return.

Every body knows that, except Osorio, the same you can say about Rojas, his burner are off, he has no more gas in his belly than maybe 20 minutes at the max...

Is wan thing that I surprise, you see the ex-coach of Coulombs, the today coach of the Sounders, when he bring a player local or International he bring a "crack" players that come to make the difference, why we can have a Dem coach like that, Osorio bring four players from South America all them garbage, you will see Celades, the only good players signed in his watch, but Celades came to the team asking for the job, was not Osorio who look for him, can you explain this bull shit...

I really like this Line-up, and you are definately right to take rojas outta there. He was playing so terribly out of position even the crummy announcers made note of it, and they wouldn't know a soccer ball if it hit them in their heads.

More importantly, I am a big fan of having Richards and Kandji on the wings. Hands down, 2 of our fastest players and both have a tremendous amount of potential when they are used properly. The only thing they should spend their time practicing is crossing the ball into the box. If they could get that down the way VDB had it, they'd be a real threat. Probably the one real thing we'll lack once we get our back line in order.

Hall is an outstanding addition to our line up and reminds me a lot of Portsmouth's defender Glen Johnson. Excellent pace and a great boot to strike with, coupled with excellent defending skills. Give him a year or two of expert (not quite sure where he'll get it from, but we can hope) training, and he'll be a regular just like Johnson on the national team.

All in all, a truly painful match to watch, but a few bright spots did come out of it, ie - Hall, and Kandji/Richards on the wings. Cepero looked shaky and out of position on the first goal, but the last 2 he really couldn't do anything about.

While I am pounding on the defense and especially the goalkeeper, they too are the victims of a completely failed midfield that did nothing to slow down the Seattle players through the midfield.

Very common in the northeast of the US. Also, it is equivalent, as is results in a goal in both circumstances.

I wonder if his presence on the roster was ever necessary? If they wanted a guy to run around and get red cards I'm sure they could find somebody in the stands who will gladly do the job.

I don't know. Especially at this stage of his development. Osorio seems determined to play everybody out of position. What is Kandji doing over on the left wing for example, especially when the team needs a target up front?

This rating is spot on, the center midfield looked like Swiss cheese in the first half after the 1st goal. Rojas is certainly not a defensive minded player which makes defensive midfield all the more important.

For me, Stammler has proven himself as a player that can chip in with a few goals at this position, which would also allow us to move Celades to center back where organization is needed.

on boyens- guys watch the f-ing game

first goal - who didn't close out the shooter - not boyens! who's the GK that's out of position on a pretty tame shot - not boyens!

check out goal number two - who got nutmegged not boyens but cepero - even if you don't want to blame the keeper who let the man run on unmarked? the midfield that's who. f-ing andy had his man marked and evans goes through clean and cepero gives up his 5 hole

so in the 34th osorio changes to 3 in the back and pulls andy and you all are blaming him for the loss - get bent already

again, watch the f-ing game already - if i was him i'd have been pissed too...

and remember who was on the field at CB last year during the run - Andrew f-ing boyens!

NYRB isn't gonna be the only team to get royally beaten by Seattle. Not every team has faced Montero yet. It could have been worse if ljungberg was heathly and started thursdays game.

You still have to face Sounders FC at home so you have your chance at revenge. Of course it'll be really sad if NYRB is shut out again by Seattle.

Seattle did look sharp, but a few key injuries and they are in trouble. That roster goes 13 deep at best.

Metros/Red Bulls for 14 years has been inconsistent team and mostly all the time a bad one, and when they are bad like when they play Seattle the team deep are not more that 1/2 one....So Seattle have the vantage and that's why they win...

Mate one thing I will say: be humble. Just from experience 2007 looked like we'd be dominant guess what we were not. You may be at the top of the world, but trust me things can hit rock bottom very fast. Come November we'll see who was right, and who was wrong.

    Karma is a bitch. ;)
