random question - if the colors on italy's flag are red white and green, why do they always wear blue for national sports teams?

 

they use blue in some sort of tribute to the House of Savoy, a royal dinasty that unified Italy back in 1800 and something..

 

To whoever mentioned Marquez's shoes, Iniesta was wearing them as well. On the other hand Bojan was still wearing the White/Blue ones, but they look better anyways.
