Does anybody know what ever happened to Mike Amman? Is he still around? I hope i'm not asking an obvious question here!
i saw mike at a United event earlier in the season and talked with him for a while. he was pretty depressed and down at the time. He showed me his elbow and it was still very swollen and looked like it wasn't responding to any treatment. i asked him if it was getting better and he said no. this was probably in May, he sure didn't seem very positive about it and i have to say, his elbow looked scary. he really seemed to be depressed and i felt really bad for him.
I know that Ammann is still taking up a chunk of salary cap, but not playing. I don't think he's expected to play next year. It was a pretty bad sign that they were selling his keeper jerseys at the equipment sale with all the David Hayes and Abdul Thompson Conteh stuff.
