Was about to post this....very good thing. I also am hoping for a strong, hungry showing by our boys. I'm sure Juande has done his homework since last time, and now is his chance to show he can match a manager like Benitez in the CL. Midfield is the key. Have fun all!

    Gracias fellas.

I heard that mascherano might be playing RB if arbeloa or aurelio (whoever the fcuk plays RB for them) isn't fit. They are without riera and benayoun as well. So they will most certainly play babel. If mascherano goes to RB then lucas plays his position.

I would take that in a heartbeat. Lucas = useless.

Edit: Torres most likely on the bench.

Surely Benitez wouldn't do that with Robben running at the LB?

I'm really hoping you guys find a way to win today. Playing negative football at home is one area Liverpool really do well in, and it will be excruciating having to listen to their fans go on about "another magical night at Anfield".

f i'm trying to do everything i can at work (apart from doing actual work) to pass the time before kick off! can't believe there's still a little over 2 hours left

oh and personally i have mixed feelings about this being on espnHD being that they broadcast it with those side bars. at least they do that with directv. on a plus note, with cl games we actually get english commentators who know the game and not douchebags like balboa or that one dude who used to work in wwe hahaha.

Days like today make me very happy to work from the home office! I've got everything I need right here, other than the HD only goes to the main TV at home :(

I'm amped up today, very anxious and excited, and have had a good feeling for the past 72 hours or so on this one. Talked to a few scouser friends from Liverpool who, honest as ever, say theres a bit of a worried feeling throughout town.

I'm calling 3-1 to the good guys, with Higuain scoring a late goal as icing on the cake, opening his UCL account, and none other than Raul to open the scoring. And what the H, let's go with Cannavaro scoring on a header....from a Robben corner....in the 61st minute.... BAM!

Being an East Coaster I had to watch a rebroadcast of the last game, but today I'm on break and at my parents house. No distractions, and a huge television. Should be much better than my normal streaming viewing. Except if anything bad happens, my mother might be trying to wash my mouth out with soap. I can't imagine being able to temper myself very much given my excitedness level at the moment...

I was debating whether or not to go to my afternoon classes today. I figured if I skipped and we lost, well........ But if I went to my classes and we won I would kick myself. I can't stand watching replays. I'm too impatient. So, I decided to skip and watch the game. Win or Lose. Preferably win, though. :)

20 minutes?! isn't it more like...an hour till kick off?

the wait is killing me, sorta feels like that last half hour of the last day in the 08 summer transfer window.
