How incredibly stupid is that? Gol TV showed the f'ing South American U-20 qualifiers. Why can't they also show their own confederation.
I hope if he plays he performs much better than he did at the U-17. Just me but I thought he was terrible there.
I imagine they just bought the rights to simulcast the COMNEBOL ones. For us, they'd have to actually send a crew down to T&T out of their own pocket. They probably don't want to spend the money.
I don't know that I'd call it "calling out", per se, but he didn't mince words about them not being up to the standard he wants right now.
If I remember DC looked like he belonged physically and played confiedently, but was still lacking overall. Tomato - tomato I guess. It was an ugly, ugly U17. I have always conteneded that the talent on that team was much better overall than what they showed/how they played. I still believe we will see that as they get older.
While it's hard to say that anyone was amazing -- the team looked bad as a group -- I also thought both Meyer and Schuler looked like good prospects from this squad. With that said, I didn't see all the matches and don't really remember things all that clearly. Cruz, Garza, Ibrahim, Jeffrey, Lambo, McLoughlin, Nimo and Shea have all moved to the next level; Williams appears likely to do so soon; MacMath had a good freshman season... In short, nearly half the roster. By American standards that is not bad for a U17 team a year removed from the tournament. Will be interesting to see what happens to the rest (Bates, Dominguez, Jackson, King, Klute, Meyer, Sarkodie, Schuler, Urso, Wenzel and Zimmerman) in the next 12 months. Schuler was the only one from the latter group to make the U20 qualifying roster.

Well, according to reports he hurt himself and was withdrawn early in camp. Hope he is healed. Can't take a player/prepare properly if you don't know if he can play or not.
