Hey all of you goalkeepers out there, What gloves are you wearing? Here's my setup:

    Practice/Training: Adidas Fingersave Ca +15
    Game/Scrimmage: Adidas Fingersave Ultra ES3

Both gloves are size 9, but what is weird is that the ES3's are a bit smaller on my hands, particularly around my fingers. Anyone else notice this? Other than that, they are great gloves, and have served me well.

I use Brine Attack for practice, and hopefully soon I will get a new game pair of Nike Grip 3's. The practice ones are size 7, the new game ones will probably be size 8. I can't stand fingersaves, because I feel like I have limited motion in my hands, so I will never wear them.

for training i use these diadoras i dont konw what but for my games i use my reusch ortho-techs. they work for me and thats all that counts so you dont need to start a fingersave war about if they work or if there a waist or whatever its all personal.

I just got my new Sondico Titan 03s in. Man are they sweet! I'll be breaking them in this week in preparation of my first Men's league match in over 2 years (courtesy of a near fatal car accident, I'm VERY lucky to even be able to play again).

I'll let everyone know how it goes; I've always used Sondico gloves, and they've never let me down yet...so it should be good!

Hey man good luck. I hope you come back strong. :) ... I tryed the Titans a month or so ago in a down-pour and the grip was still pretty good even in those horrible conditions. The thing I would worry about is the grip fading away as the glove gets worn down. I had this happen with my Graphites (old PU version). Have any of you guys had this problem with XMG foam?

    Something

We're still having 70 degree days here. I guess putting up with 90 degree weather during the summer is worth it to not have artic weather during the colder part of the year... ;)

Wow, that's pretty cool for October. How cold does it get in the winter up there?

it can get super cold in the winter, like the coldest EVER on a freak year will be around -58 F , each year we get at least a few -40 F, but avg is like -22 F

Holy $hit thats cold!. You could die in that kind of weather if you are not careful. Do you train outdoors in the winter?

we never train outdoors during the winter. That's why we have indoor ;)

Even now, there aren't many people playing, only the college/university teams are playing. Our season ends Nov 9th (if things go as planned ;))

Last year, @ the end of OCt. we were playing on snow filled pitches, maybe we'll be lucky this year

I use Adidas Fingersaves for matches. I love them -- it feels like catching a pillow. The only problem I had is that the wristband was coming unsewn so I had to resew it. If you want to talk about a difficult task, it's resewing keeper gloves.

As for cold weather, I bought some UnderArmor spandex shirts to wear under my kit, and I'm amazed at how warm they are when you're playing.

Got to try the gloves (Sondico Titan 03s) this week during a pickup practice. It was a 3 v 3 + extra man always on offense, in/around the 18, so it was a great keeper workout. Gloves seemed very solid and sticky and show minor wear (only break-in looking wear) after 50-75 shots.

Just need to invest in a set of decent practice gloves now.

I use Sondico's. They are the best gloves I have ever had, and I have tried others, such as Puma's and Nike's. I have had my gloves for more then a year and they are still in good shape. Also they werent that expensive($50 or so). I highly recommend these. I use the Sondico Redline 7.

I think the foam Sondico uses is good but I don't like the wrist closer

Just curious what you don't like about it? The new Titans are a bit tight around the wrist for getting into and out of, but they do have a little tab that doesn't velcro, so it's easier to take them off.

I just think that the support could be better. I don't really like the way the strap curves down instead of being straight. Personal perference I guess...

I don't have a problem with the way the strap is, but I can definately understand where you are coming from. :)

I like the way the strap on Nike are. (now if only they could improve the rest of their gloves...)
