The Dynamo have their last tune-up before Atlante at the Home Depot Center against Hammarby IF. Hammarby is based in southern part of the Swedish capital, Stockholm. They finished 9th in the 16 team top division of Swedish football last year. Hammarby's first regular season match is on April 4. AEG owns 49% of the team.

Ching and Rico will be joining the Dynamo for the first time in preseason.

The game starts at 1 pm CST and will probably be closed to the public. It looks like we can expect live blogging on MyDynamo.

I believe that we have played LA Galaxy before.

We played a team from Austria last year.

Australia, not Austria. I hope you were joking.

Yeah it's a joke based on people saying Hitler was from Australia. :)

Well, that's just really silly. He's not from Australia. He's hiding in Australia.

I believe Charlie Davies playes for Hammarby.

If you guys are worried about how your backline deals with speed, Davies may provide a test (though I don't know about their flank players).

Probably the way it was going...nowhere.

We'll see when they update the blog.

Based on the MD blog, though, we could really use some offensive punch.

"90' - The Dynamo get one last chance when a Cruz cross finds Chris Wondolowski, but his shot is fairly easily saved, and the game ends in a 0-0 tie. "

Yep, I'm excited to see the Dynamo playing an European team with a young American striker. Should be a great game.

Edit: Whoops, didn't realize today was the 18th.

Hmmm...it looks like we created a fair number of good chances on offense, they just didn't capitalize. I'm OK with that at this point. Hammarby definitely had a couple of good opportunities to but I think there were more Dynamo highlights than there were Hammarby highlights.

As long as there were no injuries and everyone's ready to go Tuesday, I'm happy.

    Just turn off the sound.

Now how come we couldn't do this too?

Hello Dynamo - I'm volunteering. No charge - just pay my way and per diem- I'll do it for free and provide the equipment too.

On Houston: A physical, loud team with a strong defense.

General: None of the teams had a great day for their attacking style football but an overall solid performance from both teams. A great match-up in the pre season.

    A very quick translation.
