Hey Guys, Kathie here. We have several activities scheduled that we need a lot of people for! Let me know of any of these you want to participate in and I'll get you more info! Dodge for a Cause A Dodgeball tournament to benefit Juvenile Diabetes. We need 8 people to form a team. Each person will be expected to donate $32 to go towards the $250 registration. It will be held during March 28, 29, April 4 and 5th - best 2 out of 3. There is a grand prize of $1000 and tickets on Southwest Air. There are also prizes for best team uniform, team name, etc. You have to be 18. Let me know asap as there is a limited number of teams. Soccer Ball Drive April 23 - we'll be collecting soccer balls again for the Passback program. We'll need volunteers for each gate, and hopefully enough so everyone would only need to do an hour at a time. Hillcrest Transitional Housing Walk for the Homeless Held at The Legends on May 16 at 10 am. The walk is only expected to last about an hour and they'll have a party there afterward. This has no limit on the amount of people who want to join! Our team goal is $500. Westport Pub Crawl for Cancer May 16 from 1-5. In speaking with both groups, people that want to do the homeless walk will be able to participate in the Pub Crawl as well. We are allowed teams of 10 people, the registration is $500 so each person would have to raise $50. We'd be hitting up 5 bars is Westport. Limited availability so let me know asap. Golf Tournment This is a Wizards events, not much is known right now, but it will be June 9th. More information when it comes available. Memory Walk for Alzheimer's This will be the second year in a row that The Cauldron will have a team in the event. Our group alone raised over $1000. It will be on Saturday, Oct 3. I'm working on the housing walk/pub crawl dates. I might have my mom's retirement concert then. I'll be in for the memory walk preliminarily on October 3rd. Love the advance planning here. It gives us a lot of time to get people involved. Do you know anything about Hillcrest Transitional Housing? Is it something around where the new stadium is going?
It's actually all over the KC area (from Liberty, Independence, KCK, KCMO) - they have walks all over the area as well. This one was just really handy with it being at the Legends.
Kathie here! Beth Bentley wanted me to let everyone know that although she doesn't want to play the Dodge for a Cause, she would be willing to donate to it as well as cheer on our team. If there are others out there that would prefer to donate than play, let me know!
Yeah, she was basically pointing out that there is just an entry fee per team - not really per player. This means if we can find the people who want to play, we just need to, as a group, come up with the money for the team. Her company hosts this so she would love to see a Cauldron/Syndicate team playing.

The Wizards would like a Supporters Section on the tee box - pounding drums, waving flags, cheering, etc. They will supply food and beverages. Bumpity Bump Reminder that the Soccer Ball drive is at this game this Thursday - so please bring any new or gently used soccer gear on Thursday - there will be bins at every gate. Also we're still looking for volunteers to help collect gear so please let me know if you're interested! Thanks! Kathie
