    Correct.:p :D

ambro's first yellow was rather soft, so I would say that he didnt deserve to get sent off...

    I am slightly biased, however...

Superb game for the neutral. I don't think you can give Ambro or Seedorf man of the match when they continually allowed Inter so much space between the defence and midfield. Pato (as expected) was great, as was Pippo(definite pen) and Ronaldinho in the final 20 minutes. Either team could have one it though, both defences seemed dodgy and both attacks dangerous. A truly great, open match.

    You fogot Ibra ;)

Ah well, Milan must focus on maintaining its spot in the top four. It'll be sweet to see them back in the CL and I really, really hope Milan will give the Intermerda hell next season.

I don't understand Kaladze's purpose on the field.

    He can't pass,can't tackle,can't mark,doesn't win headers.

When players have bad games at least they get involved in the general play of the team.

The way Kaladze played today he might as well have just put on an Inter jersey and become their 12th man.

I don't understand why Carlo insists on his crap time after time.4 - 2 vs Juve it was the exact same backline,we were luck that they only scored 2 because they have multiple sitters.

Maldini made a few mistakes too but how could he not be prone to making those mistakes when he's practically marking 2 of the top strikers in teh league all by himself?!

Our offense on the other hand ripped Inter to bits, like i said before i think we should've started Pippo with Pato, because Pato is a secondstriker so when he comes in deep to recieve the ball he has no one to aim for when he wants to put a cross in,when Pippo came on it made a huge difference Pato got loads of freedom.

But that's the same story with Milan like always, our buildup in attack is 2nd to none we lack a striker partner for Pato and we lack a solid defense.

Kaladze was bad I never liked him as a player, we need someone else.

Let's save our money and not buy Beckham, he is a good player but we don't need him in my opinion. The league belongs to Inter and I don't think we need Beckham to finish top four. Ronaldinho was great today, lets hope he gets better. Pato is a beast, classy player with a great future, hail him.

A new CB, plus Silva, Mattioni, Antonini, and that Columbian we have whats his name? Gourcuff, Abate and some buys from AC Milan will make us who we need to be.

    Milan

Abbiati – 7.5: The Milan keeper was certainly not at fault for either goal, as there was nothing he could do to prevent either. He made a brilliant save to deny Adriano a second on 60 minutes, as well as another world class save to deny the Brazilian a one on one opportunity just 14 minutes later.

Zambrotta – 6.5: Gave his all on the right, and got forward as often as he could. He made life tough for the Inter defenders early on in particular, however his impact was minimal when his team were not playing their best football.

Maldini – 5.5: The beloved captain will be disappointed with what could very well be his final derby appearance, as he was left for dead on more than one occasion tonight. He was completely at fault for the Adriano goal, despite the fact that it came off his arm, as he was caught ball watching when the Maicon cross came in.

Kaladze – 5.0: Made a timely return from injury for this contest, however the Georgian defender certainly struggled throughout. His inability to outmuscle Ibrahimovic in the air led to the Stankovic goal in the first half, and just moments after the restart he almost gifted Adriano his second goal, when he slipped and provided the Brazilian with a one on one opportunity against Abbiati.

Jankulovski – 5.5: Similar to Zambrotta, the left back got forward early on, but failed to impose himself when his team were down. He managed to test his luck on a couple of occasions, however unfortunately for his sake nothing came of them.

Ambrosini – 6.0: A solid performance from the Italian midfielder, however he was a little inconsistent at times. He made an outstanding challenge from behind to dispossess Stankovic on 18 minutes; in what certainly would have been the opening goal had he not made the challenge.

Pirlo – 5.5: The World Champion struggled defensively once again tonight; however to his credit he did provide some good service to his attackers throughout. Still nowhere near the Pirlo of old though.

Beckham – 4.5: Without doubt the least influential player on the park, the Englishman had no impact whatsoever. He was substituted after just 57 minutes as a result, and was replaced by the veteran striker Pippo Inzaghi.

Seedorf – 6.5: Was one of his side’s most composed players all night, and he had several opportunities to score, including one on 69 minutes, after some great work between he and Pato.

Ronaldinho – 7.5: Rediscovered some of his very best form tonight, with a dominant performance throughout. He was involved in absolutely everything in the first half, and continued in similar fashion in the second, to keep his side in it. His glorious ball through to Jankulovski led to the Pato goal, which gave Milan a glimmer of hope.

Pato – 7.0: The young Brazilian grabbed his ninth goal in ten matches, which was a reward for all of his hard work over the course of the 90 minutes. He made life for Samuel and Chivu difficult at times, however his performance was not as consistent as it has been previously.

    Subs: Inzaghi 6.5, Senderos N/A

Senderos s.v.

Inzaghi 6.5 In grande forma.

beckham didn't have his best match, and the defense is still not nearly good enough, but that ain't gonna change until next season at the earliest, so why bother harping about it. pato's growth continues and rossetti was awful. milan played well enough, especially in the second half, to get a point. oh well, those things happen, especially nowadays for inter...I expected to lose this one, given it was the "road" derby and i knew they would get the big calls plus no kaka...but as for the performance itself, i was fairly pleased.

I said put Inzagi on, he nearly won the match.

That must be the first time the BBC has ever shown an Italian match, they even had Roy Hodgson as an analyist, he supports Inter.

Kaladze came from injury, not really played for some time, and today he had some crazy ass mistakes, however he was our first choice alongside Nesta for sooo long, so I am not reallly pissed at him, but at the circumstances. Nesta injured, Bonera out. He was thrown into fray to save the flag, so a little consideretaion here.

what can i say, Bonera played against lazio with a high fever and some how stll managed to put in an excellent performance, and he was paired with sanderos, not maldini...

this isnt the first time kaladze has been full of blunders... he has been in pretty awful form for a good year and a half now..

We played well and I'm not terribly unsettled about this loss. We just didn't have the parts defensively to win the Championship this year so losing this game isn't a big blow.

I have to say that I can't remember for the life of me an Inter team that was so physical as this one. I predicted that Jose would try and duplicate his Chelsea approach to this Inter side but I wasn't prepared for this. Inter are ********ing butchers top to bottom.

Even when they don't play well (which is most of the time) they still pound the living shit out of you all over the pitch. This isn't a football team, its a some kind of perverted mutation of the Pittsburgh Steelers.

to be fair, thats irrelevant. The handball changed the trajectory of the ball and is the only reason it went in. Hence it should have been called off.

In terms of banning him, its highly debateble that the gila handball was also unintentional. Yet, he got banned. The ban, I felt was more for his celebrations after the goal than the handball itself. Adriano did the same thing. He celebrated like he just scored a real fvking goal. If the same rules are being followed, then he would be banned. But its Inter, so its unlikely.

It should've been called off, that's not even debatable, I was talking about the ban.

It is the referee's duty to call the handball, a player shouldn't have to be banned because he scored a goal that wasn't called off and actually celebrated it. Just think of it this way, if Adriano didn't celebrate or actually told the ref that the goal was illegal he would be hailed as the classiest player on Earth, if he celebrates the goal that wasn't called off and gave his team the lead in the derby, he is scum. Is there really no middle-ground? Can't he just continue being Adriano? What is the "pattern", what would he have to do to make things stay the same? He doesn't deserve a ban, and the goal should've been disallowed. It was the referees mistake.
