It helps when you play Madrid, Barca, Villareal, Valencia and play on the Sexta every once in awhile. Had this last game not been on the Sexta this match would never have been shown on GOLTV

The only good thing about this match is that Chaparro finally had enough of Casto and his fricking blunders in goal especially the indirect kick that Almeria took and instead of letting the untouched ball go in the goal and be ruled a no goal he decided to attempt to make a save and knocked the ball into the goal!!

Ricardo saved Betis in this match yesterday, the Real Union Irun player Echevarria had two goal opportunities which Ricardo took care of.

Good result - Valladolid made some huge defensive errors which cost them the game. Capi busted his leg bad & is out the rest of the season.

Hey guys, just curious how Nelson is doing at Betis?

We miss him a Benfica, although he did have lapses on defense, his offensive production was always welcomed at the club.

let a 2-0 lead go. Remember this is the hardest lead to keep & Barca has probably the best attack on the planet

Ricardo saved Betis today, I still have no clue as to why Chaparro kept him on the bench most of the season and played Casto who played like Shite for most of the first half of the season and only when it was obvious to all that he was worthless did Chaparro play Ricardo!!

I hate to write this, but maybe Paco Chaparro is out of his league. Look at how many matches Betis has been put into position to gain a result only to lose or tie?? I believe the number is around 7. This is just another one of those situations. Since the club has full faith in Chaparro, I hope he can learn from his mistakes:rolleyes:

Rob - we had Barca beaten. Who knows, if they wouldn't have stuck the PK maybe their tactics would have changed and beat us fair - take a look. Minute 1:17

Iniesta was looking for the PK as soon as he got the ball

true, true, but Paco Chaparro should have done better. Look at his sub patterns. Over 30 min remain when he made his final sub. That is wrong in any book.

GOLTV has delayed the 02/21 match @ R. Madrid, originally scheduled to be shown live @ 1PM but now looks like it will be 3PM for us west coasters. If you DO NOT want to know the score beforehand I recommend that you do not go on Marca or watch the other live games between 11 & 2 as they always show real time scores.
