Gabes and mk4-10 - Thanks for the input on the 1.06s and 1.08s. I'll have to see if I can find a local shop that carries them and try them on to see if they offer anymore support than the Execs.

 

I wanted to know if the v1.08k's are the same in size to the v1.06k's? I wear a 7 so would a 7 be ok for the v1.08k's

That looks quite bad. I think the K leather V 1.08s look fine, but I generally have a negative view on them aside from the first colorway.

Also I have a question. I keep hearing people talk poorly of the durability of the v 1.06s, but has anyone tried the 3.06s? I know they weigh a little bit more, but I would imagine because of that it would be a bit stronger. I only ask because I have found a few websites where I can get them at just under $40.

 

i know a few people who have had the v3.06's. apparently, the soleplate and upper have a tendency to come apart, especially when the shoe is soaked in water--i think it has something to do with puma hotgluing them together?

 

I'm shopping around for new boots at the moment and I'd like to know what you fine people recommend from Puma.

its funny because the US release isnt until august. maybe they are going to wait till later next year to release the .10s

 

i dont understand why they would use the v3 soleplate, not the v1's

they felt a lil big and the toe box was a little awkward at first but after a week or so of playing with them, the boots shrunk and broke in... now they feel great and i dont have any problems with the toe-box... they feel good...

however now that ive seen the 1.10's i personally dont think i'm going to get 1.10's... im a big puma fan.. my last 6-7 pairs of boots have been puma..i got some brand loyalty to them.... but from the pics they look clunky and im definitely not feelin the f50/total 90 laces cover and the dumb spiderman look on the puma logo... this is a big step back for puma i.m.o. . i might have to load up on some 1.06's and 1.08's... actually this wont be a bad thing, they'll probably be on discount some places...

 

Because it is the v2, not the v3 or the v1.

The v2 is the v1 upper on the v3 outsole and is priced $50 US less than the v1 and $50 more than the v3

Also I believe the v2 was in the line in Europe for Spring 09 but the USA waited to bring it in for Fall 09

anyway, I have a small hole forming in the top of the middle toe area on my Puma V1.08 k leathers. I bought these for £20 brand new from TKMaxx but if they eventually ripped open and I sent them back to Puma; would I get a refund of £130?
