Ya its funny, holes are going to make that much difference in weight, like 5 ounces or something? JOKE. And i prefer the normal V's than the superfly's. I think they just look nicer.

when i saw the superflys, i was super inpressed. IM NOT A VAPOR GUY, never have been, never will be, but the superfly is such a badass boot. It is alot lighter then the v's and the flywire tech seems nice. They did put holes in the studs, to make them lighter, yes, but i wonder about the durablity of the back studs now, will they snap or break, like the vapor 2/3 did. also, there is no big change at all between the 4s and 5s.

How long were the vapor IIIs out? 2 years? I think Nike is pumping out the vapors too quickly IMO.

i 100% agree with you on that. especially being a retailer, its hard to bring in every colorway that kids want, and be able to sell them, and then purchase the new ones. Im hoping, that they may sticker with the 5s for awhile, but will see soon for upcoming products.

The point to all of this is for nike to keep on making money. alot of people out there always have to have the best/newest thing, whether they need it or not. So they will keep making new models with alot of colorways.

Yeah i understand why they do it, I just don't think its very smart. I bet Nike is intentionally releasing the 5 to be nearly the same as the 4 so the 6 will really different. I bet they had the 5 designed like months after the 4 released, and they've been working on the 6 this whole time. I think adidas did the same thing with the iTunit, screw changing things between the F50.8 and .9 and work on completely different product.

 

Exxxxxxxxxxxpensive Vapors

I can never understand the steep price of these vapors. They never get cheaper unless the new ones get released. Now PD(Prodirect) soccer are selling the orange ones at US$112. PD has always been expensive but I love them for having the customize option to put name, number and flag (or either 2 of the 3 choices).

I have emailed Nike to do vapors in smaller sizes as well! They should really consider that in case younger players who have smaller feet want to own a pair of vapors. Teh guy said he would forward the email to the relevant department but it seems like Nike would never do a smaller size one :/

The new Vapors V's designs aren't that fantastic too. I thought the yellow and black colored ones are similar to that of Adidas F50 Tunit color. Who copied who or is it a collaboration?

i highly doubt nike and adidas collaborated on a colorway, since theyre competing companies, but im sure that information is leaked from both sides, so its hard to know who came up with the color first...not to mention, black/yellow is fairly generic.

on that note, i cant seem to find a release date for the zest laser IIs, does anyone know when theyll be hitting the US?

i wear a size 11 in MV III and 10,5 in MV IV.
Should i take a size 10 or 10,5 for MV IV SL? I heard most of the peolpe had to size down.
and for mercurial sl ? which size should i take ?

quick question here.. i went to my local shop the other day to try on some vaopr IV's in the lime green these are the one's made in italy not Bosnia or china.. any ways im a size 12 in all of my boots and i went to try the 12 on in these and they felt a little big and a bit wide in the toe box.. i tried on the 11.5's and they were very very snug a bit to snug to the point where my toes felt a little to much pressure... i was wondering which size i should go for i have wanted to try these for a while and have some extra cash and want to get a pair but am unsure of the sizing..
