Apparently FIFA 2004 has been upgraded since the build spoken of in Mid-August. A demo is due out this week and apparently a lot has been tweaked since then and AI improvements have reportedly been implemented. Still the same, playing the DEMO will answer all gameplay questions.

Does anyone know anywhere in the NY/NJ area that Fifa Football '04 and/or TCM '04 will be availible? I know every store will carry Fifa Soccer but the European version is a whole lot better...plus Fifa Soccer isnt compatible with TCM.

Fifa Football and Fifa Soccer are the same game....... and I don't think TCM is sold in the USA.

TCM is Total Club Manager-- a program that lets you hollistically run your club- create set plays and have your team practice them, enahnce individual characters abilities, etc. You import your team from FIFA into TCM and vice-versa.

Can someone clarify this for me? From what I can tell by reading EA's website for FIFA '04 you can run your team in TCM and then import the team to play "A" game in FIFA. But it doesn't seem like you can play a season or a career mode with your TCM team in FIFA. Maybe I was reading it wrong, but it seemed like the import feature just allowed you to "test out" your team in a single match. Anyone else read or hear differently? If that's the case, I think I'll skip the $50 for TCM and just be happy with FIFA.

EA Sports's FIFA 2004 is almost out!

Hard to believe that it's that time already, but on November 4, EA will release their next FIFA game.

One of my main complaints about sports in America is that soccer is often overlooked. Sure, we've got the NFL every Sunday and the MLB Playoffs going on right now, bit most of the time, soccer is left out of the picture entirely. One way around this, I have found, is to play a soccer video game, and more often thatn not, it's been EA's FIFA series that eats up the most of my time.

This year, EA is adding a ton of new features, including online play (for the PS2 and PC versions of the game), 350 teams, 300 new crowd chants, and dynamic weather, where the weather will gradually wear down the playing field over time.

If you've played a soccer game before, you know how much fun the multiplayer can be. I think my first soccer game was Nintendo World Cup on the NES... but how the times have changed! Every console version of FIFA Soccer 2004 will feature 4-player support, so if you have a Playstation, Gamecube, or Xbox, all of you can play together. I'm already planning some late-night get-togethers of my own ;-)

FIFA Soccer 2004 will be released for the Playstation1, Playstation2, Xbox, Gamecube, and PC. If you're a fan of soccer, you owe it to yourself to check out the FIFA Soccer 2004 e-team, which gives you the chance to earn free EA and FIFA gear. For more information on FIFA Soccer 2004 OR the e-team, check out http://www.totalassault.com/?team=Fifa+Soccer+2004

All in all, I just can't wait for this game to come out. Is anyone else out there looking forward to playing this?

I can't wait for it to come out either. I've read about it and it sounds really great.

I agree with the fact that America overlooks soccer. How much of the MLS Cup will be on ESPN? Correct me if I'm wrong, but not a whole lot. Thank god there is Fox Sports World.

I can't wait either, it's suppossed to be much better than last year. Still no create-a-anything for consoles though.

Will there be an in game editor in Fifa 2004 for PS2??? If one isn't included then it is a real shame.
I'm tired of playing with the Metros in Fifa 2003 and having Eddie Pope and Tim howard with abysmal ratings when in real life they are the best at their respected positions the league has ever seen.

Who bloody cares? I'd take WE's and the Konami Team's play over Fifa 2004 anyday. (Yes, played the demo.. didn't like it.)

Whether or not a game has certain teams should not be the sole factor in purchase. (Unless of course, it's Codemasters Club Football :) )
