Agreed. I'm going to move the thread to the FSW subform and leave a redirect and then merge the two. Let's see how well that works.
First and Ten! I had forgotten all about that show. O.J. Simpson played the team's GM if I'm not mistaken.. CTV in Canada had a show called "Power Play" for a couple years that followed an NHL team in Hamilton, Ontario. Although that was more comedy-drama than soap opera.
Luis plays one of the commandos in Resident Evil (forgettable sci-fi flick starring Milla Jovovich). He's kind of Americanized his accent, which is somewhat jarring after months of hearing him tell everyone that he is "EEEE-no-cent".
You know they're brother and sister in real life: http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0448999/ http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0448984/ She's hot!
First and Ten was mainly played for laughs and the occasional nudity. It wasn't a "soap opera" or drama per-say.
vcr alert........... For the Dream team fanatics out there - the final segment on Wednesday's (10/1) Sky Sports News was about the Dream Team Ladies charity soccer team! It re-airs 10/2 at 7am and noon eastern..........

Dream Team coming back... A while ago, somebody posted this website: http://www.harchester.net/ It gives you a detailed account episode-by-epsiode of all the seasons. Apparently, the seasons the U.S. FOXSports World fans saw were Season 1 & 2. But, Dream Team is still in production overseas in the UK by Sky Sports. As far as it coming back to FOX Sports World, I have yet to get an e-mail back from them telling me anything. But--the good new, I guess--is that Sky Sports (FOX Sports sister company) still have 5 or 6 more season left to show us.
You can get printable PDF files of the weekly programming schedule on FSW.com. They only have links to this and next week's schedule. But, if you simply change the number at the end of the URL to the next week's number you can get schedules for the next 6-8 weeks. Right now, no Dream Team on any of these. They do update these files regularly, so you never know. But, I wouldn't take that as a good sign for the near future.
My guess is this show will be used for summer filler. It beats old re-run of Aston Villa-Portsmouth games for me.
Sadly, I think you are right on. It will be tough to wait that long - but as long as they keep showing it - that will be okay I guess. Although, I just can't imagine that they can't squeeze it in now. So many of their programs are rebroadcast numerous times during the week. And I'm sure I would not miss the motoplus show. Isn't there the Speed network for America's autoracing channel - and leave FSW for America's soccer channel.
I don't know about the rest of the year, but the next 3-4 weeks are dominated by Rugby World Cup games. Most of which are first run, although not live. Kind of stinks for those of us who like to see week night replays of premiership matches that we didn't get to see during the weekend. Oh well, I'm sure if I was a rugby fan this is the one time during the year that I'd feel I had priority of the footies.
I've no problem with the RWC on FSW. Hell, I can't wait to see the US-Fiji game tomorrow. Didn't Dream Team start in March well before the end of last season? Doesn't sound like summer filler to me.
Nirvanna! Dream Team is back Thursday January 8th. 1 hour rebroadcast of last year's finale @ 6 PM EST. 2 new half hour espisodes @ 8 PM EST.
Last episode? What was the last episode that they showd? Was it the FA cup match? From what I remember it ended with the team going around the stadium and a sniper taking aim at the player coach. Was this it or was their one more?
Re: Re: Last episode? So, any bets from those who DON'T know who got shot? (I have been so good about not reading ahead in the plot lines). My bet is the Chairman gets it. They can't kill Luis Amor! They have to keep the worst Argentinian accent by an actor on this show for another season. Bill Q.
