Hopefully fans will come. Soldier Field can be pretty cavernous otherwise.

Homeless and unemployed. Should be plenty of them come June. Offer free beer and food. Balloons and pony rides for the kids.

I'm not doing it for free. One third of the hard work is already done, hell maybe even more.

Just got an email from USA Rugby.

There will be matches with USA, Wales, Ireland and Canada at TP..........on yeah you guessed it June 6.

Guess if anyone was wondering why US-Hon was at SF - TP was already likely booked. I am sure some folks (including some here) would have gone to both if different days. Of course I already had plans for that weekend long before either set of matches was scheduled. Summer is to short:mad::

A few of us from H-Town have already made plans to come up Friday and catch both games and I am pretty sure the numbers will only increase. Seems a lot of folks have Cancun on their mind right now. ;)
    See you all there.

I really enjoyed the US crowd that came in to town for Mexico (which is always great) and am planning to come for US-Honduras as well. Should be a great game, Honduras may be the one CONCACAF team that tries to play a bit on the road (Suazo, Palacios).

The Honduras game falls at an interesting point in the schedule:

    Game 1: Mex = 3 pts
    Game 2: @El Salvador (you'd think 3 more)
Game 3: T&T (we should be sitting on 9, 7 at the worst)
Game 4: @Costa Rica (having never won @Saprissa, any points would be great)
    Game 5: Honduras
Game 6: @Mexico (never won at Azteca either, 1 draw)

I figure we need 17-18 pts to get 3rd. A win here would give us 12 points (probably), heading into the last 4 games (El Salvador, @T&T, @Hon, CR). Which we make the stretch fairly comfortable.

A stumble could leave us with 9, even with a good result @T&T, we might still need points from the @Hon/CR finish. Makes me want to get qualification over with as fast as possible. A stumble could also mean three tough results in a row, which would be a blow to confidence and remind me of '98 Qual when we rushed out of the gate and then stumbled (it got pretty interesting late, thank you Stern John).

A lot of ifs, but I really believe there are four quality teams this time, and every home game really matters.

Hope this is OK for the Fire forum, I should have probably put it in the USA considering my name, but the post Mexico game US camaraderie hasn't worn off yet.

Lots of Fire fans posted in the US-Mex thread on the Crew board w/out getting harassed, but I guess a return of the courtesy would be expecting too much from Fire fans (or at least you two). Pity you can't seem to put it down, even for the US.

Oh well, I can default back to detesting your lot easy enough.

Regarding the smell, how on earth can you tell? You should be used to it on yourselves by now.

Chicago is a diverse city and not all Fire fans are USMNT fans.
