    Hello there,

I recently started Nordic Football News, which is as far as I know the only website dedicated solely to bringing you coverage of football in Northern Europe. Currently we are the people behind Fjordball, Damallsvenskan Newsblog and Football in Finland, but we are on the lookout for new writers covering more countries. If you would like to contribute occasional articles or regular updates, on football in any of the Nordic countries (Denmark, Iceland and the Faroes are out big blind spots right now, and Estonia may well qualify as a Nordic country under some definitions), then please get in touch with me via egan "at" nordicfootball "dot" info.

And if you don't want to write but are have some feedback on the site, then please let us know here, via email or by commenting on the site!

I was frequent reader and commenter on fjordball and I am happy this Norway/Northern Europe info will continue to be available in english. I've looked over the site and it looks great...again thanks for these great insightful articles & news.

Looked to be great site, good work! Will stop by regularly. Do you know how Anti Pohja is doing? Is he still at Tampere United or isn't he active anymore? While in Hammarby he was studying on the side to become a journalist. Maybe something to look into?

Nice! Dandal has a good following on the women's boards for his Damallsvenskan translations. I'll be sure to pass along your information to some Norwegian friends who may be interested in helping out on the women's side.

    Thanks for the kind comments!

We're always looking for new writers, so feel free to ask anyone who might be able to help. Pohja is studying at Tampere University (like me), and playing for Tampere United (unlike me). He has some kind of mystery illness at the moment and is not playing, but hopefully that will clear up before the season starts.
