The Metros vs. Dallas Tape Delayed game on MSG was just plugged on the NYR pregame radio show on WFAN. Caught me by surprise. Anyway.... Time for the Metros to have their way with small D

Brad is Dallas' version of Tab Ramos. Poor guy can't put together 3 straight games without getting injured. I predict: Metros 4 (Wolyniec 2, Magee, Clark) Burn 1
We need the win to keep pace with Chi. They just picked up 3 points vs. C'bus (big surprise)in front of 38,845 for their return to Soldier field. Friday night league match and it equals if not beats the best turnout at the WWC. Yeah, it's a home-coming bump, but if the league could average two-thirds of that for a season, Beckam might be here instead of at Real Madrid. Okay, probably not, but at least we'd keep Freddie Adu around for a couple seasons. Okay, probably not, but at least Jim Rome would be p-o'd.
Lets see if Mathis can step up tonight and show everyone that he belongs on the field... I'm hoping this short vacation was an eye-opener for Clint. Metros 3 (Mathis 2, Guevara 1) Dallas 1 (?own goal)
If no one on the Metros makes fun of Dallas after we clobber them, Jeff Bradley is gonna make fun of us!
http://www.metrostars.com/gameday/2003/10112003.htm The game will be live on FSW at 8 pm, and then tape delay on MSG after the NYR game. History vs. Dallas Burn Overall: 10-10-0 (GF: 27, GA: 36, -9) Home: 5-5-0 (GF: 12, GA: 17, -5) Away: 5-5-0 (GF: 15, GA: 19, -4) Overtime: 1-0-0 (started in 2000)
Well taken on a PK is when you score. Guevara does not impress me on free kicks. I know Magee is not in the lineup but when he is in I would like to see him take them.
No, because you can score on a poorly taken pk. He put it in the corner, DJ guessed right and got across to it fully extended. And did you see Guevara's free kick in the cup semi-final?
These FSW commentators have got to be the most out of touch duo I've ever heard. And Chris 'Lyetch' is just killing me.
Re: Re: Re: 10/11/03 Metrostars vs. Dallas pre-game, PBP, post game [R] Beckham would have beaten Friedel. What the hell are you talking about? And yes, these commentators blow.
I'm getting sick of the PBP man on FSW saying things like "Gwehvara" and "Chris Laytch" and "Bartolmoo"
i cant believe how stupid these announcers are. definitely the dumbest 2 people ive ever heard call a game. p.s. our midfielders r sucking hardcore right now.
My thoughts exactly. Thank God I've got Shootout and can switch over to the MSG feed - those clowns make JP and Shep sound like first ballot Broadcasting Hall Of Fame inductees.
