ugh inter played like crap once again but figures sampdoria couldnt get a goal. if they had cassano things could have been different since i personally do not rate pazzini as good (not even close to good). i didnt really expect sampdoria to beat inter at the san siro since they have also been in terrible form lately

but the good thing is that inter has also been in crap form for the last 3 or 4 serie a games now so as long as they keep dropping points while they are in this crappy form we will need to capitalize and take advantage to gain more points on them. we are only 6 behind inter and 3 behind juve. i really think milan will finish in either 1st or 2nd this year (i dont think we will get 3rd this year)

well looks like fiorentina will sign ivanovic from chelsea. he and gamberini could form a very nice partnership in front of frey (his gaff last weekend notwithstanding). damn, i thought he would have been excellent at milan...oh well i guess when you are on pace to concede 40 goals, you don't need a defender to compete for the scudetto...:p

    Two amazing games today. :D

Now Inter losing to Torino and a Milan win in Rome would be absolutely perfect.

they got some good young players. marchetti is a very good keeper and guys like canini (whenever he is not on the injury table), matri, acquafresca, and jeda along with the leadership and skill of conti, who has been on very good form, makes for a solid team. they were one of the teams of the second half last serie a season, and this season they look to be in good shape for a uefa cup push if they can duplicate that form.

guarente continues his good season with atalanta by giving them the advantage 1-0.

inter's interesting young prospect santon gets another start, and has had a few opportunities and got by his man to deliver a ball. interesting player. as for the match though, torino is more than holding their own for now, and even had some nice counters. still 0-0 at the 30' mark

abate to bianchi...gol di torino! 0-1 grazie ignazio. granted cordoba and probably julio cesar as well could have done better, but i'll take it

wow, inter almost responds immediately, nice save by sereni.

abate is playing well in the san siro. should be home stadio next year. hint, hint galliani ;)

damn, inter draws even 1-1 58'. this will be tough for torino to hold on to. error between ogbonna and sereni, and both of them had been playing pretty well up until that point

saint sereni! somehow torino still level after an inter assault on their goal

omg, quaresma blows a chance and then post from ibra. torino holding on by the skin of their teeth

    e' finita. inter 1-1 torino

if milan can somehow win tonight, pull into solo second and 6 within inter

Unbelievable. FSC cuts away from the Inter-Torino game (1-1) with less than a minute to play and Torino under siege in their own end to go to the Chelsea-Liverpool kickoff. Idiots. I intended to watch the Chelsea game too, but hell, I'd kind of like to watch the conclusion of a very exciting game that I'd just invested 88 minutes in.

    1 Inter - 50 pts.
    2 Juventus - 43 pts.
    3 AC Milan* - 41 pts.

    *game in hand

With a win today, we move into 2nd place, 6 points behind Merda. With the derby coming up, these next few weeks could be very interesting.
